General secretary kasule revealed yesterday to media.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We have issues with payments, this is a restructuring process. We are laying off 132 administrative secretaries at the District level, assistant secretaries and 157 staff members at the headquarters,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>However on a good note Lumumba stated that all the affected staff will be paid their respective arrears before termination date sets in.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey will also continue working with us for the next two months as required by the law,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>She also added that her office, the offices of; legal, finance director, treasurer and deputy treasurer , electoral commission and commissioner as well the deputy secretary general are not affected in the restructuring process.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ruling Party NRM has laid off 419 employees at administrative and district levels because of financial constraints.
