Government spokesperson Ofwono Opondo has defended President Museveni\u2019s proposal saying\u00a0 it\u2019s better for citizens to come up with their own version of apps.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPresident Museveni wasn\u2019t talking about double taxing social media but his intention was to help Ugandans to make their own home based applications,\u201d Opondo stated while appearing on Frontline Show.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe point Museveni is making will help Ugandans make their apps.
