We were almost getting there, and I know that every step we take is towards our success. Thousands of Ugandans gathered up to watch the Uganda Cranes beat The Ghana team, Black stars in order to qualify for the World cup, 2017. It is said that FUFA had awarded each player a sum of 3000 dollars as a bonus if they won, but Ghana did not let this happen either.<\/p>\n

All hopes were lost as the country\u2019s National team failed to score a goal against Ghana. The first half ended in a<\/p>\n

0-0 draw, and the crowd got ready for the second, hoping it would change the mood of the day and give Uganda an Independence Day worth celebrating.<\/p>\n

The second half went 0-0 too, till Ghana scored in the last minutes. The goal was however cancelled, an offside declared, which was not pleasing to the Black Stars.<\/p>\n
