Taking to Instagram Glamour revealed the reason behind the issue

“Every word and photo shoot was curated by women for you. In the issue you will also find 5 local female photographers you need to know now. The all new GLAMOUR Hair is inside and we feature local hair stars with diverse hair type,” they wrote in an Instagram post promoting the new issue.
