Diamond Platnumz was on Saturday night June 23rd 2018 involved in an accident in Oakland, California, USA. The singer escaped without any injury.

Diamond traveled to America to perform at various cities and also to attend the 2018 BET awards. The ‘Ayena’ hit maker was involved in a minor accident on Saturday after performing in Oakland.

The father of three was with his cousin and official DJ Rommy Jones and two other men when the accident happened. He on his way to his hotel room.

Someone was recording Diamond in the car when the accident happened. The video footage indicates the car hit something, the recording stops when the impact is felt.

“DAH!!! WAS ALMOST DEAD LAST NIGHT!… BUT GOD GAVE ME ANOTHER CHANCE TO BREATHE AND CONTINUE INPIRING & CREATING MORE FUTURE FOR MY FELLOW YOUTH!!!…” wrote Diamond after the accident.
