What Is It With White Ladies Who Date Kenyan Rappers? Are They Their Countries’ Rejects? Here Is What Kenyan Ladies Have To Say

Last Friday I ran an article titled ‘https://www.ghafla.co.ke/news/music/item/25985-what-is-the-connection-between-kenya-rappers-and-white-women-career-advancements-love-here-is-the-insight’, an article that tried to unravel the mystery behind our own hip hop singers snubbing our beautiful women for Caucasian ladies.

Now the article seems to have angered a number of our own women, some decided to vomit their venom at it and dismiss it outright, while others had to ignore it because of what they felt is a jibe taken at them.

But truth be told, it is evident that our rappers, from Octopizzo to Abass Kubaff to Bamboo to Rabbit and to the rest have in one way or the other had affairs with white women. That is something we cannot debate about now.

Octopizzo is married to a mzungu. So is Abass Kubaff. Bamboo, Rabbit and Khaligraph Jones have had run-ins with their own.

So why are our ladies so angered by this reality?

My thinking on why our rappers have cruised this route is that they want to get themselves associated with great rappers, who interestingly, happen to be wazungus.

Talk of the late Tupac Shakur, talk of Jay Z, talk of the controversial Lil Wayne, talk of 2 Chainz. These are great American rappers. In one way or the other, they have had a great influence on the hip hop industry in Kenya. So is their influence on Kenyan rappers.

So how are our rappers gonna get associated with these rapping maestros? It is impossible. The only option is to date wazungu ladies. That is what they have done. I don’t mean by dating Caucasian ladies our rappers are gonna reach the American hip hop masters. Nah.

My thinking is, to be deemed the best in Kenya, they have to at least get an association with the best in the world, be it directly or indirectly. Another reality could be that the wazungu ladies are so much attracted to our rappers because wazungus love hip hop. All these are possibilities.

But our ladies seem to be disinterested with the fact that our rappers have snubbed them for the Caucasians. This was evident in the responses my previous article got.

This particular lady says that all the wazungus married or dating Kenyan rappers are rejects in their own countries. That white men reject them forcing them to find solace in Kenya. That the most beautiful Kenyan ladies date wazungu men.

Another lady, whom we could not immediately ascertain if it is Abass’ wife had this to say:

How true is this? Do you agree that the Caucasian ladies married in Kenya are rejects? Do our ladies mean that Kenyan men cannot convince beautiful white ladies? Is it true that beautiful Kenyan ladies win the hearts of white men at the expense of Kenyan brown-skinned men?
