For an artist who wants to see that every heart receives the Gospel of God, he has been recognized as a great singer whose inspiring songs have had a progressive impact on the gospel music industry in Kenya by his peers.Contemporary urban Kenyan Gospel is one of the fastest growing genres in the country, with guys like Fidel that have helped popularise it especially with the hit single, “Wakati Remix” featuring his younger brother Sledge, Pitson, Rigan Sarkozi, Maxyn, Simbo Owade, Danny Gift and Bern.

Unlike most upcoming talents who are caught in the trappings of instant fame and wealth, as well as greed, Fidel has been sober-minded and unselfish in doing what he loves; walking the Word of God.With the awards season just round the corner, I take this opportunity to shine the spotlight on this Gospel singer who deserves to be heard more.
