When Prison Becomes The Safest Haven: Angry Mob Attack Infamous Naivasha Vampire After Justice System Failed To Contain Him In Prison (Photos)
Unlike most prisoners who thirst for a gasp of freedom, Naivasha Vampire is safe behind bars as evident with what happened to him when he got out of the penitentiary.
Infamous serial killer Geoffrey Matheri alias ‘Fongo’ hit the headlines in 2008 when he was arrested for kidnapping, drugging, raping, draining, drinking blood and killing women. His savage acts saw him baptized ‘Naivasha Vampire’.
Fongo claimed that Bishop Jeremiah Parangyo of the New Hope for All Nations Church instructed him to kill and sell to him human body parts.
The vampire was found guilty of kidnapping in 2014 and he was sentenced to four years in prison at the Naivasha Maximum Prisons.
After spending years in prison, the Naivasha vampire was acquitted of all charges last Friday by a Nakuru court for lack of evidence for the crimes he allegedly committed.

He returned home a free man even trying to convince locals he was reformed and had accepted Christ in his life.
But Geoffrey’s words alone wouldn’t grant him immunity against the wrath of villagers who were baying for his blood.
Naivasha vampire was cornered by angry mob as he was loitering in the village and handed a dog’s beating. He broke one of his legs during the public beating.
Naivasha vampire is currently recuperating at the Naivasha Sub-County referral hospital.
