Willy Paul Apprehended By Police
Kenyan musician Willy Paul, known by his stage name Pozee, was apprehended by police at his residence in Syokimau on March 4th, 2024.

Earlier that day, Pozee took to social media expressing concerns about his safety and alleging police presence outside his home intending to arrest him. He further claimed to be facing accusations of a hit-and-run involving a pedestrian, suggesting this was not the first time he had faced such allegations.
“I’ve been told that there are police officers outside my house syotani Villas waiting for me saying I knocked someone and ran away, they want to kill me!!! The same thing hapened last year. If something happens to me you mjue ni watu wamevaa uniform and they’re outside my house right now!!” he wrote.
Local journalists rapidly deployed to Willy Paul’s home in response to his social media notifications.
Bloggers were denied access at the gate, but they were nevertheless able to confirm that the singer had been captured.
According to media reports, police cars were present at the area, which suggested that Willy Paul had been arrested and was being taken to an undisclosed location.
