Woman Dies After Being Denied American Visa

A 38 year old woman reportedly died this week after having been denied a visa to the US. This was at the embassy Nsambya, Kampala. The news reached this desk through New Vision, that reported that the woman’s name is Teopista Okudia, a resident of Mutungo Kampala.

The Visa application process can get depressing, especially when you have provided all the necessary supporting document, but still get denied.

“We can confirm that a visa applicant passed away on the grounds of the US embassy in Kampala on Wednesday January 30. We offer our sincere condolence to the family and friends of the deceased,” said the US Embassy spoken,Phil Dimon.

The metropolitan police duty spokesman,Luke, mentioned that the police is yet to find out more about her death. May her soul rest in peace
