Woman Viciously Beaten By A Mzungu For Speaking Kiswahili

Of all mundane things to get beaten over, this has got to be the most ridiculous.

A woman in Minnesota Asma Jama, is nursing grave mouth and nose wounds after a white lady by the Jodie Marie Burchard-Risch assaulted her for speaking Kiswahili with her family. This was at a popular joined called Applebee’s in Coon Rapids, Minnesota.

Speaking to Fox news, Asma Jama said that she was just hanging out with her family when Jodie confronted her and asked her to speak in English. She was reportedly offended that Asma who was sitting at a different booth was speaking in a foreign language and that’s when she demanded that she stops.

Asma then told her that she has a right to speak in Kiswahili with her family since its America and they have freedom of speech. And that was when things blew out of proportion as Asma was hit with a large beer mug in a “round house punch “motion.

After realizing what she had done Jodie Marie ran away but was soon caught and is now being charged with one count of third degree assault. This is however not the first time Jodie has been charged with a violent assault according to police reports.
