Remember Defao Matumona, popularly known as the General Defao? For starters, he is one of Africa’s music great that dominated the airwaves before the onset of contemporary urban music.

The Congolese music maestro used to command a big fan-base that spanned beyond Africa. Europe and especially France was his favorite destination for his music market.

His music reached plateau so was his popularity with the coming of younger generation which favored a whole different style of doing things in the game.

Brushing the intro aside, General Defao was spotted in Nairobi in company of revered dancer and singer, Kanda King at Egesa East Villa in Umoja, Nairobi.

Two things caught the attention of many who landed their eyes on the veteran singer, his color and his weight.

General Defao was known to have a ballooning body. All that is gone, he lost weight and now he spots a slim body.

His color though, pwowwhh! It’s bad seriously, really terrible! Bleaching has taken a toll on his skin to make him look like another thing, not the General Defao you all used to know.
