Geoffrey Mosiria Calls For Arrest of Ex-Machachari Actor Baha After Leaked Video
Nairobi County Chief Officer for Customer Service and Citizen Engagement, Geoffrey Mosiria, has called for the arrest of former Machachari actor Tyler Mbaya, popularly known as Baha, following the leak of a private video online.
The development follows a similar controversy involving digital creator Sheryl Gabriella, whose leaked private videos recently sparked intense online debate. In the newly surfaced footage, the former child star appears to be taking explicit instructions from an unidentified person online.
Mosiria has raised alarm over the trend, claiming that these incidents point to a deeper, more coordinated effort to recruit young people into harmful practices.
“There are people using influencers to recruit young people into satanic organizations, which, if not stopped, will lead to staggering moral erosion,” Mosiria warned.
The chief officer also took the opportunity to address critics who had previously slammed his call for Sheryl Gabriella’s arrest, asking if they would similarly defend the actions seen in Baha’s leaked video. While critics of the Gabriella incident argued the leak was the work of an estranged lover, Mosiria insists that Baha’s video is evidence of a more organized, underlying issue.
This is not the first time the actor has found himself at the center of public controversy. Baha has previously faced scrutiny over gambling confessions, scamming allegations, and prior explicit leaks. Observers have noted that these troubled episodes seemed to intensify following his highly publicized separation from his ex-partner, Georgina Njenga.
