Awards-winning Ghanaian actor, Prince David Osei has urged Ghanaians to love and appreciate talents in the country.
According to him, it’s about time Ghanaians began supporting their own rather than using Nigerian stars as benchmark in the showbiz industry.
Prince is certain that if Ghanaians develop the habit of supporting and loving each other’s
talents, it will promote the industry.
He further added that Ghanaians will stop finding faults with local acts altogether because they are good at their acts.
“In Ghana we don’t really appreciate our own and support our own, that is the hallmark of the whole problem. If we celebrate our people and appreciate the talents God has given to this nation, it will go a long way to encourage people to go beyond being a star in Ghana and looking beyond,” he stressed.
In a telephone interview on Accra based Hitz FM, the actor revealed how on his visits to Africa’s most populous nation, Nigerians appreciate and love Ghanaian talents.
He also noted that even some Nigerians wish to shoot movies with Ghanaian actors and actresses.
“When we meet head to head, they are afraid. They go like Ghanaians are intelligent, Ghanaians speak good English, Ghanaian movies… some of them will love to come to Ghana, to them it’s a big deal to come and film in Ghana with Ghanaian actors and actresses.”
Prince David Osei said although Nigerians adore Ghanaian talents, they don’t discourage their own.
“They adore Ghanaian talents and appreciate us too much…, (but) they also appreciate their people and don’t just condemn their own.”
The talented actor also admitted that Nigerians are making impacts globally because of their ambitious nature.
“Nigerians are naturally aggressive to success, they will do anything to succeed… Nigerians are very ambitious, everywhere you go Nigerians are making impacts,” he said.
Prince David further stressed that there are a lot of good talents out there but because they
don’t get the necessary support, they are forced to go out somewhere to be accepted.
General overseer of Creator’s House Chapel, Prophet Eric Boahen talks about secular music. According to him, it isn’t wrong for a Christian believer to do secular music. He made these statements during his private birthday party.

Ghanaian rapper, Donzy talks about prophecies. He addressed Prophet Nigel Gaisie for his constant death prophecies.
Donzy made these statements on ‘Zionfelix Uncut’. Moreover, he spoke about how prophets tell Christians to see them in order to overturn such ‘evil’ prophesies.
According to him, they should rather allow them to die. This is because the scripture makes the point that death is a blessing to the believer. Therefore, once a Christian dies, he goes to Heaven.

After a long period of absence, she released a single titled ‘Aseda’ on November 25, 2018.

Ghanaian gospel music legend, Elder Francis Agyei advises gospel musicians. Moreover, he stated that they should not focus on social media trends. Also, not to the neglect their spirituality, which is the bedrock of their chosen path,
“Gospel Music is spiritual and a ministry. It is not all about sitting on facebook for trends and canvassing for votes. You should trend in the anointing of doing something good”
He made these statements to The Spectator ahead of the launch of his ‘New Covenant’ album. Furthermore, he added that was not condemning any artiste for using social media. However, they must use it positively in spreading the works of God and not negativity.

Speaking on Joy FM’s Cosmopolitan Mix show with Doreen Andoh on Friday, member of the group, Omar Sterling said;
“I would never send you a song to post for me. [The reason is] I trust the music so much and I believe it will do just right.
“I don’t think we went through hardships because we started our record label. We don’t know people. We don’t get a lot of good press.
He also added that;
We don’t care about all these things. We believe in our music. It’s all about the fans. It’s always been all hands-on board if we are to give gratitude to anyone.”
MTN Hitmaker Season 7 winner OV, has revealed that she came into the competition knowing nothing about music.
According to her, the competition was a perfect platform for any underground artist because

Former Ghanaian rapper, Yaw Siki, has disclosed that his gory accident in 2013 was
God’s plan to fulfil the purpose in his life.
It will be recalled that rapper Criss Waddle recently said, the former hiplife artiste Yaw Siki
was forced to give his life to Christ because of potholes and the bad state of the Accra-Tema Motorway.
But in an interview with host Ayisha Bayipa on SVTV Chat, which airs on SVTV Africa,
Yaw, who is now a born-again Christian refuted the claim.
He however insisted that his accident was God’s plan to fulfil God’s purpose in his life.
“You know God used the accident to draw me closer to Him, for me to know Him and see
His power, so for me, my accident was God’s plan to fulfill His purpose in my life,” he said.
Asked whether he is still cool with his old friends, he replied “we don’t get time to sit and chat like we use to do but sometimes we chat on social media.” he added.
After surviving a gory accident in 2013, the musician, born Isaac Okai, gave his life to Christ and started preaching the gospel.
The accident on the Accra-Tema Motorway did not just leave him bedridden for months, but it also renewed his faith in God.
Yaw Siki, who had his debut hiplife song “Wope Dodo” in 2011, switched from secular music to gospel in appreciation of God’s favour for him and the second chance offered him.

Kumawood actress, Maame Yaa Konadu Jackson declares herself as one of the biggest stars in the Kumawood movie industry.
Moreover, according to Yaa Jackson, she is the second biggest actress in Kumawood. This is because her competition is star actress Nana Ama McBrown.
The 17-year-old made the bold claim while speaking in an interview with Delay on the Delay Show.
