Ghanaian rapper, Okyeame Kwame ramps up the anticipation for his new ‘Made In Ghana’ album. Therefore, he outdoored another single off the album.

The song is ‘Bra’ and features Afriyie of Wutah fame.

‘Bra’ is a mid tempo highlife songs that talks about yearning for the love of one you abandoned.

It touches on the theme of leaving the one you love just to realise you cannot do without them.

In the song, the singer finds himself in quandary of letting his lover go – and at the same time, wishing she stays. He even tells her he may hop onto the next available woman if she decides not to return.

Obviously, this is an effusion of love riddled with confused emotions – typical of most people in relationships.

The song is a perfect blend of Okyeame’s thought-provoking rap and Afriyie’s glossy vocal delivery.

This comes after the release of the theme song ‘Made in Ghana’ last year.

Okyeame prepares for the release of his 10 track album this year with tours to regions which each of the songs represent.

The ‘Made in Ghana’ album also features Kurl Songs, Kwan Pa band, Wiyaala, Yaa Yaa, Atongo Simba and Fancy Gadam.

Others are Wulomei, Kidi, Ebo Taylor, Feli Nuna and Kuami Eugene.

The songs represent the 10 regions and their cultures, bringing rhythms together through music, videos and paraphernalia.

Kumawood actress, Gloria Kani talks about her life-changing experience. Moreover, according to her, her old life was displeasing to God Almighty, her maker. Therefore, she is not going back to because she is born anew.

There are different reports surrounding CEO of Menzgold, Nana Appiah Mensah. Moreover, according to reports, the Interpol arrested him in Dubai.

Apparently, Interpol picked him up in Dubai on Saturday.

Furthermore, according to Citi News sources, his arrest is not in relation to the scandal in Ghana.

The Statesman Newspaper portal first reported the arrest. Apparently, his arrest came after a complaint filed by an individual in that country. According to him, Appiah Mensah duped him in a gold deal.

Moreover, a very close source to NAM1 confirmed the arrest. However, they did not give further details.

“the Dubai dealer, a national of the United Arab Emirates reported that his company, Horizon Royal Diamonds DMCC, had attempted to close a deal with Appiah Mensah involving 750 kilos of gold with the value of about US$51 million.

However, NAM1 issued a countersuit alleging that Horizon Royal Diamonds DMCC rather owes Menzgold $28 million.

Furthermore, back in Ghana, Nana Appiah Mensah is wanted over his company’s inability to pay investors their monies, together with two other directors of the company.

Father of late Ebony, Nan Opoku Kwarteng says he hasn’t listened to any Wendy Shay song. Moreover, this was after Bullet introduced Wendy Shay on the VGMA podium as the replacement for his daughter. Moreover, he stated that the only chance he got, he slept off.

Kwarteng spoke on the reason he slept off when Wendy Shay’s song played. Furthermore, he revealed that he took a public bus and the driver played Shay’s song.

He stated that he planned to listen to the song till it ends. However, he was unable because he was very tired and as such slept off while it was still playing. He made these statements to Nana Romeo on Accra FM

The asked him what he thought of the debate that Bullet makes Shay copy Ebony’s style. However, Nana Opoku Kwarteng stated that he couldn’t really tell because he has not actually taken time to listen to songs from Wendy Shay.

Therefore, Nana Romeo played Ebony’s ‘Hustle’ and Wendy Shay’s ‘Masakra’ for him to make the judgment, Mr. Opoku Kwarteng revealed that both ladies have different styles.

Zylofon Music artist, Kumi Guitar talks about Medikal’s music video. According to him, he turned off his TV set when Medikal’s video for his ‘WrowroHo’ song which features Agbeshie played.

The highlife musician made this revelation during an interview with Sammy Flex on Zylofon FM’s ‘Showbiz Agenda’. Moreover, he stated that he did that because his son was around. Also, the lyrics of the song are a little profane. Therefore, he had to act quickly so that it does not corrupt his son.

Furthermore, the host asked if he suggested that stations not play the song. He stated that it was far from it. However, Kumi feels if radio and TV stations want to play the song, they should do so at late hours.

Also, the Ghana Music Awards UK ‘Highlife Artiste of the Year’ suggested that the songs can also be played when men or boys meet at a personal level for their enjoyment. This is because it is a great song but not in the manner it was surprisingly sprung on TV when he was with his young son.

Socialite, Michy and her dancehall artiste lover, Shatta Wale are at it again. Over the weekend, the two were the talk of social media. Moreover, this time the allegations are unbelievable.

Shatta Wale accused Michy of absconding with their son, Majesty and his new Range Rover. However, in a series of posts on Insta story, she reacted to these claims.

In the posts, she revealed that Shatta Wale abused her. Also, he drained her badly in the relationship. Highlife crooner, Kwaisey Pee talks about MUSIGA. He spoke about it during an interview with DJ Candyman on Atinka 104.7 FM.

He spoke about it after the host asked him about the administration and membership of the Union.

Moreover, the host asked whether he was a member of MUSIGA. Kwaisey Pee categorically stated that he has nothing to do with the organization. According to him, the organization is unappealing and unattractive enough. Hence, his apathy towards the group.

“If the group is attractive, that’s when you would love to associate with it but there is nothing attractive about MUSIGA…’’ 

Furthermore, he believes that the organization has nothing for him as a musician and the entire industry as a whole. Also, he stated that the organization is a platform on which people siphon money to enrich themselves.

“Where is the 2 million cedis Government gave to MUSIGA, I learnt they used the money for research, which impact did it make in our lives as musicians…?

According to Pee, MUSIGA is now a business entity. This is because people hide behind the façade of working to change their financial statuses. Moreover, he cited the president, Bice Osei Kuffour as an example of someone whose physical and financial status suddenly changed following his success as a MUSIGA president.

“See Obour, we all knew him when he was a hiplife artiste, look at him now, he has totally changed” 

Artist manager for Zylofon Music’s Kumi Guitar, Nana Poku Ashis fires back at the artist. Moreover, he stated that there is no need to reply the many allegations leveled against him by his artiste.

He made these statements on Hitz FM’s ‘Daybreak Hitz Entertainment Review Show’ by Andy Dosty. According to him, his desire was for Kumi Guitar’s progress in the music industry. Also, for the artiste to become a very big star in future without any problems. Therefore, he won’t reply his allegations.

According to him, if he reacts to the allegations Kumi levels against him constantly, the revelations will be the end of the ‘Betweener’ hitmaker. However, co-panelist on the show, Prince Tsegah pressured him to at least say something in defense of himself. Nana Poku Ashis vehemently denied that.

The background of the matter comes from an interview Kumi Guitar granted recently. According to him, he alleged that his manager, Nana Poku embezzled some funds meant for promotion of his music projects.

Former hiplife and highlife sensation, Evangelist Papa Shee talks about men of God. Moreover, according to him certain men of God are fake.

He spoke about this in an interview with B Ice on Kumasi based Agyenkwa FM.

Furthermore, according to him, about 99% of the current crop of so-called men of God in Ghana are fake. However, his statement shocked the host. Papa Shee added that his Bible tells him that many people are called into the service of the Lord. However, few are chosen. Therefore, almost all the Ghanaian pastors who claiming that there are servants of God are liars.

He stated that even though he was in the United States of America doing the work of God, the Lord through the spiritual realm showed him the ill activities these fake pastors were engaging in.

Also, he expressed his total displeasure on why the current gospel musicians follow these fake men of God blindly all in the name of getting huge sums of money to satisfy themselves.

In his ending remark, Papa Shee stated that if any of these fake pastors dare him for saying the truth, God will kill them. He stressed that this revelation was by God together with a biblical quotation from Acts 18:9 as backing.

Highlife artiste, Kwaisey Pee comments on the state of the music industry.

He had an interview on Atinka 104.7 FM drive talk hosted by DJ Candyman. Moreover, he spoke about his views on the contribution of the government towards the music industry

Initally, he refused to give his opinion on the topic under discussion. However, he relented and stated that the government was unhelpful to the music industry.

Furthermore, according to him, there are no spacious theatres to accommodate more patrons and stakeholders. Therefore, there is a long way with regards to the government’s contribution towards the industry.

He was quick to add that he thinks the problem probably has to do with the agenda of political parties in the country.

“Maybe they have their agenda before coming into power, and music might not be part of the agenda” 

Also, Kwaisey told DJ Candyman that one of the great assets of a country is the music industry. Therefore, he admonished the government to pay attention to it.

“They perhaps think music isn’t that necessary for the growth of the country, but listen, when, music is done well, it has a lot of benefits like attracting tourists into the country which helps the country holistically…”

Veteran highlife musician, KK Fosu was in an accident over the weekend.

Moreover, the musician was on his way to Happy FM for an interview. The interview to promote his new single. It was on his way when the unfortunate incident happened.

Dr Cann of Happy FM disclosed that his producers called K.K Fosu to inquire about his whereabouts. This is because they were expecting him in the studio. However, someone picked up and informed them that he was in an accident on the Tema Motorway. Therefore, he was at the Tema General Hospital.

“K.K Fosu just got involved in an accident and has had some injuries so he has been rushed to a hospital. Let’s pray for our brother K.K Fosu.” 

Also, Nana Romeo who was a guest on the entertainment show confirmed

“as you rightly said, he was on his way here (Happy FM) so we were calling to ask his current location and someone picked the phone to tell us that he has been involved in an accident and has been rushed to the hospital. The guy who picked the call appeared on the accident and he says K.K was with another person in the car”
