Gloria Ntazola Urges Young People to Turn Smartphones into Income-Generating Tools

Gloria Ntazola has encouraged young people to make better use of their smartphones and internet access, saying the digital space offers countless opportunities to earn a living.

In a video shared on Instagram, Gloria responded to a social media post by a man who lamented being unemployed and struggling financially.

She argued that anyone with access to a smartphone and the internet has the potential to create income if they are willing to explore the available opportunities.

“So I was scrolling through my socials, and I saw this one guy, and he was complaining he’s jobless, hana kazi, so he was just lamenting.”

Smartphones can be tools for earning

According to Gloria, many people view the internet primarily as a source of entertainment instead of a platform for building careers and businesses.

She challenged young people to rethink how they use their devices.

“If you have access to a smartphone and internet, you should never complain that you are broke.”

“You should never do that because you can always find something to do online and it will always generate income.”

Opportunities go beyond content creation

Gloria noted that while many people associate online income with influencing or content creation, there are numerous other legitimate ways to make money online.

She said individuals can start small businesses, work remotely or offer professional services without having a large social media following.

“It’s not a must that you make millions. You can start a small business, you can just start something online, you can be a virtual assistant, you can write articles, you can edit, you can do a bunch of things.”

She emphasized that the internet provides a wide range of career opportunities for people with different skills.

“You don’t necessarily need to be an influencer or content creator. You can literally do anything online. And I’m not talking about adult content, please. No. I am talking about serious jobs.”

She also earns income online

Gloria revealed that she personally benefits from one of the online opportunities she mentioned, although she chose not to disclose exactly what she does.

“Ata mimi I do one of these things. I don’t want to talk about it because you people don’t believe in it, but I do it part time.”

She concluded by urging people to spend less time using their phones solely for entertainment and more time searching for ways to earn an income.

“Don’t just use your phone and laptop to watch movies and keep up with Gloria and write negative comments.”

“Start hunting for jobs on sites. There is a lot people can do online. So stop complaining that you are broke.”
