“I Can’t Stay Silent”- Willy Paul Speaks Out Against Rising Online Immorality As A Parent

Kenyan singer Willy Paul has urged the government to crack down on explicit online content, warning that its unchecked spread threatens the nation’s moral fabric and the safety of children.

Sharing his concerns on social media, the musician expressed that he could no longer stay quiet as provocative trends continue to dominate digital spaces.

“As a musician, public figure, and parent, I can’t stay silent with explicit content and other immoral behavior continuing to spread across online platforms unchecked,” he wrote. “I respectfully call upon the government and relevant authorities to take this issue seriously. The longer we remain silent, the more we risk losing our values and exposing our children to harmful influences.”

The artist stressed that while he supports creative freedom and expression, it must be balanced with responsibility and a commitment to protecting the younger generation.

“Freedom of expression should never come at the expense of decency, responsibility, and the well-being of our young generation,” Willy Paul added. “We must create an environment where positive values are encouraged and harmful content is not normalized.”
