Oga Obinna Plans to Interview Uhuru Kenyatta and President Ruto Following Rigathi Gachagua’s Explosive Claims
Oga Obinna has expressed his intention to sit down with former President Uhuru Kenyatta and President William Ruto in follow-up interviews to hear their perspectives on the controversial remarks made by Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.
Speaking over the weekend during a barbershop anniversary celebration, Obinna told entertainment journalists that he is keen on giving a platform to all parties mentioned by Gachagua in a recent widely viewed interview.
“We had a lot of discussions with Riggy G during the interview, but now I want to meet the other side so we can have a complete conversation. I’d love to sit down with Uhuru Kenyatta, William Ruto, and others he referred to—just to hear their side,” Obinna said.
Obinna Celebrates the Interview’s Success
Obinna described his interview with Gachagua as one of his most impactful yet, noting its impressive performance in terms of viewership both during the livestream and after.
“This was a one-of-a-kind interview. I’m extremely grateful that he invited us into his home and welcomed us so warmly. It’s something I’m very proud of,” he shared.
A Glimpse Into Gachagua’s Private Life
Obinna also opened up about his impressions of Gachagua’s wife, Pastor Dorcas, saying he was surprised by her humility and hands-on approach to family life despite her public profile.
“I realized Pastor Dorcas is a real wife—traditional in the best way. There are many high-profile women who delegate everything to house managers, but she’s different. She was personally serving her husband and even us, the guests,” he said.
Obinna went on to note that what struck him most was the consistency in her character, both on and off camera.
“There are people who act one way when the cameras are rolling and change the moment they’re off. But Pastor Dorcas was the same—warm, attentive, and gracious throughout,” he added. “And let me tell you, Riggy G is a romantic guy too.”
Looking Ahead: Ruto, First Lady on the Radar
Obinna also revealed that aside from political discussions, he is curious to observe and share insights into how President Ruto relates to First Lady Rachel Ruto behind closed doors.
“Just like I got a glimpse into Riggy G’s home life, I’d also love to see how President Ruto interacts with his wife when the cameras aren’t there—and of course, I’ll tell my fans all about it,” he teased.
With plans to bring more prominent figures into his interview series, Obinna is positioning himself as a key media figure in bridging political narratives with everyday human interest stories.
