Iyanii Reveals Turning Down Tempting Offers To Lose His Virginity (Video)

Kenyan musician and songwriter Ian Okwemba Oure, widely known as Iyanii, has opened up about the immense pressure and high-value financial offers he has received from female fans attempting to take his virginity.

Speaking in a candid conversation on the Mic Cheque podcast in an episode aired on Sunday, December 14, 2025, the 27-year-old artist firmly stated that he is genuinely still a virgin and intends to remain so until marriage, despite the tempting proposals.

Million-Shilling Offers and Persistence

Iyanii revealed that one woman recently sent him a direct message offering him a significant sum if he agreed to sleep with her. He initially laughed it off, assuming it was a joke, but the offers escalated quickly.

“I am genuinely $27$ years old and genuinely a virgin. Juzi kuna dem amenidm akaniambia, ‘I will give you half a million if you come and allow me to take your virginity,’ but nimekata (Recently a lady DMed me and told me, ‘I will give you half a million if you come and allow me to take your virginity,’ but I refused),” Iyanii recalled.

When he initially laughed it off, she doubled down: “akaniambia. ‘I will make it double, wewe kuja and let me take away your virginity‘ (she told me, ‘I will make it double, you just come and let me take away your virginity’).”

The singer explained that his curiosity led him to continue the conversation, only for the woman to raise the stakes even higher, insisting she was serious. “I was so curious nikarepond sahi tumefika place ananiambia, ‘I will give you hata Ksh 3 million, let me just do it,’” he added.

Commitment to Waiting

Iyanii revealed this was not an isolated incident, claiming he has had several similar encounters with female fans, many of whom openly state their desire to be the one to take his virginity.

Despite the intense pressure, the Kifo cha mende hitmaker insists he has remained firm, reserving himself for the right person.

Rules of the Relationship

This commitment was first publicized on Saturday, September 20, 2025, during an interview with Alex Mwakideu. Iyanii revealed that he and his current girlfriend, Diana Kemunto, are in a chaste relationship.

He explained that he deliberately ended previous relationships with partners who expected him to break his vow. Kemunto accepted his terms, which is why he is dating her.

“Even now, we are not having sex. The farthest we go physically is hugging, and even that has rules. The hug is not supposed to last more than five seconds; we just say ‘I love you’ and ‘thank you’ and end it there. I like her personality and the respect she gives me.”
