Embracing Childlessness as Authority

According to the MP, her personal situation grants her a unique form of authority, allowing her to speak on matters concerning childless women with conviction and deep knowledge, rather than mere sympathy.

She expressed a strong desire for women without children to be heard, appreciated, and treated without discrimination across society.

“I consider it a privilege to be childless. I consider it a privilege because I can talk with the authority of childlessness. I’m not talking from a point of empathy. I am talking from a point of knowledge and empowerment,” she asserted.

Millie concluded her statement by emphasizing the need for normalization and respect: “I would want women who are childless to be heard, appreciated, and I would like them to be treated as normal.”
