Pritty Vishy weighs in on Kenyans discussing Njugush leaving Wakavinya
Influencer Pritty Vishy has criticised Kenyans for their reactions to the breakup between Timothy Kimani (Njugush) and Celestine Ndinda (Wakavinye), calling out what she described as unnecessary pressure from the public.
In a post shared on Instagram on Thursday, April 23, 2026, Pritty questioned why many people appeared unwilling to accept that the couple could choose to go their separate ways.
She argued that much of the reaction was rooted in personal beliefs about relationships rather than the couple’s reality.
“You people are acting like they can’t separate. Why? Because you don’t believe they should?” she said.
Pritty also pushed back against calls for reconciliation, insisting that such decisions should be left to the individuals involved, not public opinion.

“So wareconcile juu yako wambirianga? Nah, let them do that if they see any need—not because of people,” she added.
Public interest remains high
Her remarks come amid intense public discussion following Njugush’s confirmation that he and Ndinda ended their marriage last year after careful consideration.
The comedian noted that the decision was mutual and respectful, adding that they remain focused on co-parenting their children. He also asked for privacy as they navigate this new phase of their lives.
