Betty Kyallo reflects on what makes her newborn baby unique

Media personality Betty Kyallo has shared unexpected observations about her newborn daughter, saying babies born in 2026 seem “different.”

“2026 babies are different”

In a recent update on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, Kyallo spoke about behaviours she has noticed just weeks after giving birth, admitting that some of the reactions have caught her by surprise.

“2026 babies yoooo!!” she remarked.

She explained that her baby sometimes cries without tears, only to switch quickly to smiling moments later—something she did not anticipate at such an early stage.

“They cry, no tears. I actually run to her, and she’s smiling,” she said.

Early development signs

Kyallo went on to highlight several traits she has observed, including frequent hiccups and what she described as unusual physical strength. She noted that her daughter began lifting her head as early as the second week.

“Lifting head since week 2,” she shared.

She also suggested that the baby appears alert and responsive, at times giving the impression that she can already see and react clearly to her surroundings.

“For real, it is like she can actually see already,” she added.

Surprising milestones

The presenter further mentioned feeding challenges, noting that the baby sometimes resists feeding while displaying strong reactions. She also observed early attempts at sitting up, which she described as unexpected for her age.

Taken together, these experiences have led Kyallo to feel that this new generation of babies may be developing differently than she had anticipated.

Welcoming baby Nova

Kyallo recently announced the birth of her second daughter with partner Charlie Jones. Their daughter, Nova Aurora Jones, was born on April 15, 2026, a moment she described as deeply special for her family.

“Welcome to the world, our precious little Princess Nova Aurora Jones, 15/04/26,” she wrote while introducing the newborn.
