Popular Lang’ata Member of Parliament Felix Odiwuor, widely known as Jalang’o, alongside digital content creator and social media influencer Shornarwa, have united to firmly debunk widespread internet rumors suggesting an inappropriate interaction during a recent public gathering.

The online speculation erupted over the weekend after a brief, heavily analyzed video clip surfaced showing the two interacting dynamically at an entertainment event. Vigilant netizens and self-appointed body language experts quickly swarmed the comment sections, with a significant section alleging that Shornarwa was behaving inappropriately and being overly touchy with the married first-term politician. A widely circulated narrative claimed that despite Jalang’o physically shifting and attempting to create space, the influencer consistently closed the distance.

Moving swiftly to put the controversy to rest, the duo released a lighthearted joint video addressing the rumors directly. Rather than taking a defensive posture, Jalang’o and Shornarwa chose to lean into the humor of the situation, aggressively poking fun at the online critics who claimed the lawmaker was left “very uncomfortable” by the encounter.

“When you start worrying about everything, it consumes your time,” Jalang’o stated while laughing off the digital uproar. “I even commented on the same post and told them they were reading too much into things. I even laughed about it.”

Shornarwa echoed the legislator’s sentiments, downplaying the severity of the internet’s reaction while playfully mimicking the exact opinions shared by the critical commentators. Recreating the close embrace from the original video to prove there was zero tension between them, she mockingly quoted the internet trolls, saying, “Jalang’o is pushing her away and she is just coming.”

To solidify their dynamic and permanently silence the infidelity whispers, Jalang’o affectionately referred to Shornarwa as his “sister,” attributing the malicious online commentary to jealousy directed at his high-profile public standing. The swift and transparent pushback from the two public figures stands as a classic case study in modern celebrity crisis management, demonstrating how humor and direct address can effectively dismantle sensationalized internet narratives before they impact professional or personal reputations.
