“I left the City to trace my roots” Bahati meets his centenarian grandfather after years (Photos)

Bahati was 7 years old when his mother passed on, he was partly brought up in ABC Kenya Children’s home in Kariobangi before his step-brother took him in.

Years back, the ‘Nikumbushe’ hit maker travelled to his late mother’s native in Makueni County to trace his background. He found his maternal grandfather who informed him about his lineage.

The gospel singer recently travelled back to Makueni to visit his centenarian grandfather, Bahati revealed he had stayed for years without seeing him.

“After Many Years without Seeing him_ I left the City to go and trace my roots ‘ Visited GrandpA; Father to my Late Mum Lucia, Memorable & humbling Moments With this Man that God has kept for Over 102 years.. #NIKUMBUSHE,” Wrote Bahati.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The flourishing gospel singer did all sort ‘upcountry chores’ while visiting his grandfather, he fetched firewood and cooked on the traditional three-stone cooking fire.
