Betty Kyallo to launch podcast

Kenyan media personality Betty Kyallo has thrilled fans after announcing the arrival of her second child.

The celebrated journalist and entrepreneur shared the news through Instagram, opening up about how her life has unfolded in ways she once doubted possible. Already a mother to her daughter Ivanna, Kyallo revealed that she had often wondered whether she would ever experience motherhood with a newborn again.

The arrival of her second baby with her partner, Charlie Jones, marks a major new chapter in her personal life.

Betty opens up about past doubts

In a candid message to her followers, Kyallo admitted she once questioned whether she would ever settle into a committed relationship or build a stable family life.

Referring to the popular slang phrase “kutoka streets,” which loosely means leaving behind a carefree single lifestyle, she jokingly reflected on her past uncertainty.

“Hadi nilikuwa najishuku kama naweza toka streets,” she wrote, accompanied by laughing emojis.

Kyallo explained that she eventually realised her lifestyle needed to evolve as she embraced this new phase of motherhood and family life.

Plans to launch a podcast

The media personality also revealed plans to start a podcast where she intends to share more details about her personal journey and experiences that she has largely kept private over the years.

“Ntaanza podcast niwashow,” she told fans, hinting that the platform would allow her to speak more openly about her transformation from a high-profile media figure to a mother of two.

Family bond and support from her partner

Kyallo also praised Charlie Jones, affectionately known as CJ, while encouraging her followers to trust in God’s timing.

She pointed out that the age difference between her two children closely mirrors the gap between herself and her younger sister, Gloria Kyallo.

“So I know they will have a very beautiful relationship just like Lolo and I,” she shared.

Charlie Jones also reacted warmly to the announcement, commenting: “My GIRLS.”

A new chapter for Betty Kyallo

Over the years, Betty Kyallo has remained one of Kenya’s most recognisable television personalities, having worked with major media houses including KTN and K24.

Beyond broadcasting, she has also established herself as an entrepreneur through ventures such as Flair by Betty.

Her transition into motherhood once again signals a new era in both her personal and professional life, with fans celebrating her growing family and fresh outlook on life.
