DJ Fatxo appeals for prayers for his sick mother

Mugithi singer DJ Fatxo has shared an emotional moment with his fans, offering a heartfelt prayer for his mother as she continues to battle illness.

In a Facebook post shared on Thursday, March 19, 2026, the artiste is seen presenting his mother with a bouquet of flowers while expressing hope and encouragement. The touching video captures his mother, who appears frail, seated at home before her face gradually brightens into a smile as she receives the flowers.

She warmly accepts the gesture and softly reassures her son, a moment that visibly lifts DJ Fatxo’s spirits despite the difficult circumstances.

Reflecting on the experience, the singer spoke about the silent struggles many people endure and called on God to grant healing to his mother.

“The battles we fight silently… May the good Lord heal you, mum,” he wrote.

Impact of social media trolling

In a separate revelation, DJ Fatxo opened up about the emotional toll of online criticism, which led him to seek spiritual comfort at sermons by gospel minister Sarah K held at Nairobi Cinema.

Speaking in a past TikTok video, he said he attended the service alone—something he had not done in years. The visit also marked his return to Nairobi’s central business district after a long time, and he admitted he initially struggled to find his way around.

Upon arrival, he was surprised by the large turnout, noting the long queues of worshippers waiting to enter the venue—something he said he had not witnessed in the city centre for years.

Despite not having a ticket, a security guard and fellow attendees who recognised him helped him gain entry, allowing him to join the service.

The artiste described the experience as both unexpected and uplifting, as he continues to navigate personal challenges while seeking strength through faith.
