I saw a wife in Milly, but she was already taken then – Kabi wa Jesus´ burning confession

You Tuber couple, Milly and Kabi wa Jesus narrate their teenage double dates that saw them light a love spark and drop off their exes.

Speaking during an interview with True Love magazine´s February issue, the sweethearts revealed they fell in love with different people while still in high school.

Funny enough, they were brought together by Kabi´s friend and even went on double dates, but never knew they would end up together.

Double dates

Milly recalled:

I met Kabi when I was in form two in high school. My then boyfriend introduced us and we ended up going for two double dates with him and his then girlfriend. I had a picture of four of us that I took to school just to show off to my gang.

Surprisingly, there was some charm in Milly that caught Kabi´s eyes but since they were both in relationships, then it never struck him, to think of Milly beyond friendship.

It´s funny. Because even back then I had an image of how my wife should look like. When I saw Milly, I thought she looked like my wife. Plus, she was very nice. But at the time, I had a girlfriend, and this guy was dating her. So I never thought of dating her.

Days, weeks, months and years passed and Milly and Kabi never saw eye to eye and had lost connection.

Reconnection

But on a fateful day, the two crossed paths online, that time Milly was in University and they reconnected.

The ´bro code´ rule made it tough for Kabi to approach Milly, beyond friendship – having in mind that Milly was his friend´s ex.

Eventually, he gained the courage and took the step that wrote history in their lives.

I thought of asking her out but again, she was my friend´s ex and bro code dictated I don´t. Even though he already had a wife and a kid, I kept thinking, he might assume that I used to like Milly even before they broke up. So I was a little hesitant.
