Justina Syokau Reminisces Deadbeat Baby Daddy Related To Wiper Leader Kalonzo

Gospel singer and “Twendi Twendi” hitmaker Justina Syokau has once again brought her private life into the public eye, revealing the heavy weights of her co-parenting struggles and alleged links to one of Kenya’s most prominent political families. In a candid interview with radio personality Alex Mwakideu, the singer opened up about her long-standing frustrations with an ex-husband she claims has neglected their child since their marriage collapsed shortly after his birth in 2013.

Syokau’s relation to Kalonzo

Syokau’s allegations take a high-stakes turn as she claims her baby daddy is actually a brother to Wiper Party Leader Kalonzo Musyoka. According to the singer, she was married into the family at their home in Saikuru and has even had personal interactions with the former Vice President. She recalled a specific instance where she was allegedly invited to Kalonzo’s residence in Karen, claiming he asked to meet her son.

“He called me and said that I should go to Karen… He said I have a nice kid,” she stated, adding that the politician gave the child Ksh 2,000 and acknowledged him as his nephew.

Despite these alleged prestigious family ties, Syokau paints a grim picture of her current reality. She has previously taken to social media to call out her ex-husband—whom she describes as a wealthy philanthropist who frequently supports churches—for failing to provide for his own son. The singer expressed deep frustration over raising the child single-handedly for over a decade, noting that her attempts to seek justice through the legal system have so far been unsuccessful.

In a bid to end the dispute once and for all, Syokau is now demanding a DNA test to confirm paternity. Her goal is to secure a structured financial commitment, including school fees and medical insurance, insisting that it is time for the father to take responsibility. By bringing the Musyoka name into the conversation, Syokau has added a new layer of intrigue to a domestic dispute that shows no signs of quieting down, reminding her audience that behind the “glory” of her music career lies a grueling “story” of a mother fighting for her child’s rights.
