Media personality and travel entrepreneur Sarah Mtalii has revealed that her DMs are constantly buzzing with serious romantic inquiries, yet she insists that she isn’t ready to jump into a relationship right now.

During an interview with Kajim on YouTube on Monday, October 6, 2025, Sarah disclosed that her inbox is filled with messages from potential suitors across various high-profile professions, including pilots, doctors, and even politicians. She noted that many of them are divorced or separated, with some living abroad and others locally in Kenya.

“I have gotten some very interesting DMs,” she stated. “Sometimes they even send screenshots of people who are seriously interested in dating me with the intention of marrying. But at the moment, my mind is not ready for that kind of relationship.”

She clarified that while she appreciates the attention, her current focus is strictly on her career and personal ambitions, leaving no room for romance.

Sending Gen Z Away

When asked if younger Gen Z men have tried their luck, Sarah laughed and firmly stated that she has had to tell them to “keep off” her direct messages.

She made it clear that her inbox is reserved for business inquiries related to her travel company or charity work for her foundation.

“Gen Z kwanza, I had to tell them to keep off my DM,” she said. “If they are coming to my DM, let them come to buy a holiday or to get inspired by what we are doing at the foundation. By the way, they are so mannerless, and I feel like I am their mother. But they don’t care.”

Criteria for a Future Partner

Sarah did, however, outline a specific type of partner she would be open to dating in the future. She is looking for someone with maturity and life experience, setting a strict age minimum.

“When I will look for someone, the person must be over 40 years, strictly,” she asserted.

She also expressed a preference for someone who has been married before, like a widower or a divorcee.

“Tutaskiza story tujue were you the problem? But I know people reform. That is the kind of people I want.”

For now, Sarah maintains that her travel business and foundation work remain her top priorities, confirming that love will have to wait until the timing is right.
