Kamene Goro Sets Conditions To Be Met As She Eyes Motherhood

Media personality Kamene Goro has shared a rare glimpse into her family plans, revealing that she and her husband, DJ Bonez, are eyeing 2026 as the year they might welcome their first child.

In an interview on Saturday, January 3, 2026, Kamene confirmed that discussions about expanding their family are officially on the table. However, she was quick to clarify that she is not interested in a large family.

“We have been having our conversation about having kids, so maybe 2026 will be that year,” she said, before adding, “I’m not going to have more than one child. I already have two babiesmy husband and my dogs—so our family feels almost complete.”

Kamene’s decision-making process isn’t just personal; it’s also highly strategic. She noted that her timeline is influenced by the current socio-political climate in Kenya. With the next General Election approaching in 2027, she expressed a need for caution.

“A lot of the plans that anyone is making right now have to be in line with where our country is going,” Kamene explained. “We have a crazy election coming in 2027. It is going to be intense.”

She pointed out that the current tension and frustration felt by many Kenyans make long-term planning difficult, though she remains optimistic that the coming year could also bring “abundance” and opportunities for growth.

Five Years Together, Three Years of Marriage

Reflecting on her relationship with DJ Bonez, Kamene celebrated the stability they have built. “We are about to get to Year 3 in my marriage, but we have been together for five years,” she noted.

For now, the couple is focused on enjoying their current family dynamic while keeping a close eye on the country’s direction before taking the leap into parenthood.
