Mulamwah’s hilarious prayer about finding (another) wife
Popular comedian and content creator Mulamwah (David Oyando) delivered a humorous and painfully relatable account of single life after finding himself unintentionally third-wheeling at a star-studded event.
The entertainer, who is currently single, attended the launch of Urban Wheels on Sunday, 23 November, and shared a series of photos capturing the awkward reality of being the only bachelor in a sea of couples — images that quickly went viral.
The Solo Standout
One of the photos showed Mulamwah seated at a table with well-known entertainment journalist Presenter Kai and his wife, Diana Yegon. The couple sat cozily side-by-side, while Mulamwah occupied the outer seat, smiling politely but clearly the odd one out.
He paired the image with a hopeful and slightly vulnerable caption:
“Sawa tu, aliye juu anaona… soon nitabarikiwa pia. Type ‘amen’ nitapata my wife pia.”
(It’s okay, the One above sees… soon I will also be blessed. Type ‘amen’ and I will get my wife too.)

Mulamwah’s situation became even more comical in another photo featuring Director Trevor and his partner, Kikilove Yvonne. The couple, dressed in matching Arabic-inspired outfits, posed affectionately together — while Mulamwah, smartly dressed in a suit, stood to the side looking like the ultimate third wheel.
His captions embraced the irony of the moment:
