Geoffrey Mosiria has raised alarm over a troubling case involving a woman who claims her kidney went missing after undergoing surgery to remove fibroids.
In a statement posted on his X account on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, Mosiria highlighted the woman’s situation and called for immediate intervention from health authorities and regulatory bodies.
Alarming Medical Claim
According to Mosiria, the woman initially sought treatment for fibroids but later developed severe swelling affecting multiple parts of her body, including her legs and head. Despite visiting several hospitals, she reportedly did not receive a clear diagnosis.
“STOLEN KIDNEY EXPOSE!! This lady was suffering from fibroids. After undergoing surgery to remove them, she developed severe swelling affecting her legs, head, and other parts of her body. She visited several hospitals without getting a clear diagnosis,” he stated.
He explained that it was only after she sought care at Mbagathi Hospital that further tests were conducted, leading to a shocking discovery.
“She later went to Mbagathi Hospital, where an ultrasound and CT scan were conducted, revealing that her left kidney was missing,” Mosiria added.

Questions Around the Procedure
Mosiria further revealed that the woman had initially learned about a doctor through Inooro TV, where he had discussed fibroid treatment and indicated he worked at Maragua District Hospital.
After contacting the doctor, she was allegedly scheduled for the procedure. However, instead of being treated at a government facility, Mosiria claims she was taken to a private hospital in Ruiru, where the surgery was performed.
Following the operation, she reportedly began experiencing complications, including the swelling that later prompted further medical investigations.
Call for Investigation
Mosiria has now urged the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council and the Ministry of Health Kenya to step in, investigate the matter, and support the woman in accessing both medical care and legal assistance.
“I appeal to KMPDC and the Ministry of Health to urgently intervene, support her in accessing treatment, and assist in providing legal services,” he said.
The case has sparked concern online, with many calling for a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding the surgery and the serious claims raised.
