Popular Kenyan YouTuber and digital star Thee Pluto, government name Robert Ndegwa, has quietly but firmly stepped into a brand-new chapter — and the internet is only just catching up.
The controversial “Loyalty Test” host has officially paid dowry after holding a colourful traditional wedding ceremony, popularly known as rũracio, in a move that has sent Kenyan social media into overdrive.
And in true Thee Pluto fashion, the whole thing was done in secret.
Secret Rũracio Shocks the Internet
The content creator kept the ceremony completely under wraps until everything was done and dusted. Only after the elders had spoken and the rituals sealed did Pluto break the news online — instantly setting tongues wagging.
Sharing photos from the event, Pluto made it clear this wasn’t just another celebration, but a deeply symbolic cultural moment.
“Love was not rushed, it was honoured,” he wrote, hinting at patience, maturity and intention behind the move.
“Not Just Love — Culture, Faith and Ancestors”
According to Pluto, the rũracio brought together both families, elders and traditions, with wisdom flowing freely as culture took centre stage.
He described the ceremony as a sacred covenant, witnessed by heaven and sealed by tradition — not just the union of two lovers, but the merging of bloodlines, prayers and generations.
“Rũracio is more than a ceremony; it is a sacred agreement… This was not just the union of two souls, but the merging of histories, prayers, and generations,” he shared.
Pluto added that the day carried deep spiritual weight, saying they approached their families in humility and sought blessings from the same God who watched over their ancestors.
In short: tradition met romance, and culture met faith.
