This time, Vera Sidika is the victim.

Back when she split with Otile Brown, she made Kenyans believe that the RnB singer was not up to it both financially and in bed.

Kenyans believed her, backed her up and slammed the ´Mapenzi Hisia´ singer for failing big time!

There was definitely that percentage that swore their loyalty to Otile and were with him through thick and thin.

Unfortunately, Vera´s lie has been uncovered and the higher percentage is out to fire shots in the socialite´s direction who to them is nothing less than a liar.

Who´s word against who´s? It is now push and pull between Wendy Waeni and ex-manager, Joe Mwangi

Teenage acrobat, Wendy Waeni has exposed her former manager, Joe Mwangi for taking advantage of her expertise to mint money for himself.

Up and close with Citizen TV´s smoking hot, Jeff Koinange, the girl revealed that despite showcasing her talent across the globe, her family lives in abject poverty.

Back then, the 14-year old staged performances in Germany, China and Rwanda where she rubbed shoulders with prominent business leaders and politicians.

She shared:

Apparently, her family resides in a single-room house in Huruma, Nairobi. And her mother sells sweets and cigarettes to feed her family.

The young talent disclosed:

My mother is really suffering. She’s working right now (10 pm). She sells sweets and cigarettes at night and we’re in this situation because of Joe Mwangi. Ever since I started performing across the globe, my mum has never gotten a single penny.

The Kenyan gymnast further revealed that CS Fred Matiangi is the one who actually caters for her education until she graduates.

Speaking to Jeff, Waeni sadly narrates:

My dad left me when I was three and living in Mathare, it was tough with my mom because she did not have a job. I have never seen him again, he does not know what goes on in my life. I would want to keep in touch and he is my dad and I have never had a male figure in my life.

Dr Fred Matiangi is paying my fees, it´s Joe Mwangi who asked him and he will do so till I graduate.

All hope is not lost for her because:

According to Sifuna, he once wrote a cheque to Waeni´s foundation but the manager insisted that it has to be sent to his account.

I don’t know about child trafficking but one time Wendy came to Orange house and we cut a cheque for her foundation to buy some play stuff. Weeks later Joe Mwangi came asking us to change it and write the cheque in his name. I cancelled the whole thing.

Wendy sadly noted that Joe would use her social media accounts for selfish gains.

It ‘s really so sad when people tell me I’m rude, I am a brat because I post things on Instagram which I don’t really know. I don’t have access to my social media accounts. It’s Joe Mwangi who controls them.

As we speak, Becky Wangari is Joe´s replacement therefore, current manager.

Wendy´s story has touched the hearts of many who urge her to forward the matter to the DCI for swift action to be taken against her ex-manager, Joe Mwangi.

However, Joe comes out to instead deny having ever traveled with the young acrobat outside the country, let alone con her.

It pains him that we tend to direct our energy in life towards the wrong things, the wrong people.

Because for him, given a chance, he would learn to love himself more than other people who matter less once you get to your downfall.

We waste so much time partying with people who would not care if anything happened to you and neglect the people who would be there for you in any circumstances.

If I could give advice to my younger self, I would say to love myself more. Not doing so is my biggest regret. I wish I had loved myself more. I always cared about other people more than me. ‘Mlambane’ mpendane Mulamwa says in new jam

Mlambane mpendani are some of the key words in Mulamwa’s new jam. Mulamwa uses some words from the great governor of WestPokot. To start with, I never thought that Mulamwa could sing. He has also gained prowess in using some explicit words from Sailors gang Wamlambez.

Honestly I feel like this comedians are really trying so much. This is is just funny, it will always lead you to the words of the funny man Lonyangapuo. Even after his governorship tenure is over this guy should join comedy.

It seems like Mulamwa is really being spoiled by the ghetto anthem artists. In this new jam he has featured Oga Obina. It is just a great song that will only make your ribs crack.

As much as we look at creativity, the kind of way music is being done nowadays will never be unique. I mean this guy woke up and decided he is going to use Lonyangapuo’s words and his clips.

Also, it seems like we should accept more from this comedian. In Mlambane, I must agree that Mulamwa delivered the song. With his strong comedy accent, it truly overshadows his not so good vocals.

Also, the song is more relevant to the young generation. Actually, no older person of sane mind would listen to this. As time defines what is relevant, this jam is okay. The target audience who are the youth mostly high school kids are home. This confirms it that the timing is just perfect.

The team behind production did a good job. As much as there is no content, the video is creative. Oga Obina is behind the video production. As the director, he has given the video a fine touch. Is twerking a recommendation in all this songs? Find out for yourself.

In between, Mulamwa mentions a common series known as Money heist. He uses this to describe the waist of a girl.

In conclusion, it is a good thing. Last but not least, Mulamwa in Mlambane gets a rating of 6/10.

Ethic Entertainment came into the limelight with their first release Lamba Lolo. A jam was greately adopted by the young generation. Their Sheng’ prowess is something that has seen them prosper. The group is founded by a group of four where each and everyone possess some sort of different strength.

Ethic Entertainment comprises of Rekless, Swat, Zilla and Seska. The group seems to have a certain order in which and everyone of them performs their lines. For starters, it is a good thing that such young talents are being promoted.

Why Ethic Entertainment need Rekless more

It is not everyone that excites the crowd or fans often. There is that one person who wins the hearts of many. While looking at Ethic, Reckless seems to have taken the day. Recently, the group did a song in collaboration with Otile Brown.

Dala Dala is a great jam which fans were really anticipating for its release. When the song hit the airwaves frustrated fans hit the comment section on youtube expressing their disappointment. Fans were too quickly to notice that Rekless was missing in the jam.

Although Otile is a big name fans still could not keep calm for lack of Rekless in the jam.

Munju Reh features Moreh and Gwaash in his new jam Hama Mtaa. The collaboration is worth it in this song. “Nilihama mtaa sikuhizi naishi kwa bar..” You will hear this line a couple of times in the song.

The trio has brought out the best in them. In this case Hama Mtaa is all about how the guy is rocking in the bars. I mean he feels good when he is getting drank in the club and says that it is the only place he can be found easily.

For starters I do not understand how one can live in a bar. Creativity at its best here. There are also famous words by the the Famous governor Lonyangapuo We give up ( Insert his voice).

The use of Lonyangapuo’s words shows that the man has a lot to tell. The youths are really appreciating him day in day out. Such simple words being compiled to bring out a song. Kenyans are smart.

Hama Mtaa by Munju Reh is more of a bragging song. Yes I know you get it, there is a stanza where he says unipate kwa bar na usiogope ku order. This generation is all about drugs.

Whatever the case we have to promote this artists.

Relevance of the ‘Hama Mtaa’

Hama mtaa by Munju Reh, Gwaash and Moreh is only relevant to the youths. What do I mean here? It can only be related to those aged between 16-23 years. This is the group that is really enjoying this kind of music.

Also the school going generation is well conversant with this kind of work.

Delivery of the song

The trio knows when and what to say in their specific lines. There is good flow in Hama Mtaa. They do not flop, thus making the song easy to flow. It was produced by Pro’ Spyke of KingsCatle Ent’ and directed by  Cartels.

In conclusion, Hama Mtaa gets a rating of 6/10.

Renowned Kenyan journalist, Larry Wadowo has questioned his safety in the US just days after getting there.

Saturday, the 3rd of August 2019, the BBC journalist set foot in the American motherland only to be welcomed by news of a mass shooting at a Wallmart store in El Paso, Texas.

However, he thought that was it but early Sunday morning he woke up to news of a mass shooting in Dayton, Ohio.

He grew cold feet before questioning his safety in his new ´home´.

Explained! Why Diamond´s child with Tanasha will be his 5th and not 4th

As we wait for Diamond´s baby with Tanasha, this will not be his fourth child, rather fifth.

The world has been introduced to Diamond´s bloodline of 4. Period! But that´s not it.

He has Zari´s Prince Nillan and Princess Tiffah; Hamisa Mobetto´s son Dylan and now Tanasha´s baby boy who we hope to be meeting sooner than later.

King Kaka: How I made my music breakthrough with only Ksh 800 as initial capital

Music has always been food for the soul for Kenyan rapper, King Kaka but money stood in the way.

The top Kenyan hip-hop artist realized his love for music way back in the days so it was either he ignored it or took up the challenge.

He took up music and ran with it before realizing that without financial muscle, it was a waste of time and resources.

According to SDE, Rabbit writes how he went to Gikomba market, bought 4 plain T-shirts at a total of Ksh 800, not to wear but use as an investment to record his 17-track album.

The Kaka Empire CEO´s dream had always been to work with DJ Loop but being a famous producer already, meant all eyes were on him for quality music productions.

DJ Loop

So he instead decided to appreciate the DJ instead of also asking him for favors. He took the 4 T–shirts, and painted 4 portraits on them: Jay Z, Ludacris, Snoop and DJ Loop.

Since that was the fashion at the time [2006], everyone wanted a piece but there was Music Week being held at Sarit Centre where Loop had a stand for his studio.

And since King Kaka couldn´t afford a stand of his own, he went to the one next to DJ Loop´s and asked if they would help display the T-shirts.

Rabbit then offered to pay a commission on every sale made. But that wasn´t his intent. He just needed an opportunity to request for studio time with the well-known DJ.

Luckily, Loop fell for it, not just by buying the T-shirt but also asked for Rabbit´s number.

Breakthrough

So Monday, they met and asked what else Kaka could do and he proudly said he was training on graphic design though, from a cyber cafe.

Well, he succeeded and within no time the ´Kula Vako´ rapper started selling logos, eventually launching Taurus Media, his first company.

He had however not told the DJ he is a rapper but hanging around him, taught him how DJ Loop handled the music business differently.

And the lesson acquired is ´Don´t just love music, know the business behind it too´. DJ Loop would clad in a suit and so would his guests and always carried a briefcase for meetings.

Something that King Kaka admired and a street creed he has treasured so badly over time: How you look is the first language you speak before you open your mouth.

Unfortunately, he also took note of the fact that despite having the street as a major supplier of the Kenyan economy, the offices are what run the country.

Loop gave him this theory and always asked him ¨Kaka, where is the money?¨ that always nagged him.

However, back to his main focus, Music, Rabbit figured that since the DJ was mostly out of the studio doing meetings, then he could step in whenever he was absent.

By the 4th month, DJ Loop had already schooled him on how to produce music and sound engineering.

Further adding that since the DJ trusted the urban-poet with the studio, he would give him the keys and every Sunday Rabbit would record himself.

17-track album

A year down the road, he had a 17-track album featuring Harry Kimani, Chiwawa, Zakah among others, just from his initial Ksh 800 capital.

King Kaka not only secured himself a production with the famous DJ, rather saw him as his mentor and teacher.

His closing shot is: when you want something so bad, make sure that patience is ingrained in your habit.

It might have taken a whooping 16 months for anyone to get creative with the popular ´Kwangaru´ anthem but it was definitely worth the wait!

There was no better way for Wasafi´s Harmonize to have a replicate of the viral ´Kwangaru´ jam if not to praise his mother land.

 

It is the birthplace of the popular song and remains his home for as long as he desires.

For the Kenyan land, it might have been considered ´immoral´ therefore strictly banned from being played by KFCB Boss, Ezekiel Mutua but its comeback is breathtaking.

Magufuli

The song now dubbed ´Magufuli´ who is Tanzania´s president, takes up the very same music bed of ´Kwangwaru´ but with different lyrics on it.

´Magufuli´ is a praise song that hails the achievements of Tanzania´s president, John Pombe Magufuli during his reign as President.

Harmonize released the song´s video just Friday, the 2nd of August 2019 and it is already trending at number #7 on You Tube with well over 800,000 views as we speak.

Although WCB president, Diamond has rubbed shoulders with President John Magufuli about his kind of explicit music content, Harmonize is out to praise him for the achievements.

The original song ¨Kwangwaru¨ featured Diamond and Harmonize but this time, only Harmonize is in the song.

The now You Tube millionaire, speaks of the developments Magufuli has brought into the country right from free education, to improved infrastructure, not to forget the energy department.

From this, the bongo star assures his President that he is guaranteed of his vote come the 2020 elections.

It is after going through a rough road late last year, that she got closer to God than ever before and her recent release ´Sifa´ is all about praising God.

However, she discloses that this was at a time when she was going through a lot and it is through the song, that she is free.

I went through a couple of tough situations, it just reigned a relationship I had with God.

I´m so happy about my space right now. My priority right now is my relationship with God.

Yes, Wahu hails from a Christian family but it is now that she is reconnecting with her roots.

I am a born-again believer and I have refocused myself in the sense that my relationship with God is my priority.

I want my music to speak of where I am right now because I feel the connection and I want it to be a true reflection of where I´m at.

However, for the very first time the lady opened up about her struggle with a certain illness that has seen her battle for her life about 5 times.
