Comedian Jalang’o is one who enjoys flashy expensive things. He not only drives a fancy car but expensive outfits and shoes which complete his look.
Just a few hours he shared a new video flaunting the many pairs of shoes he owns. From his caption, the comedian cum radio presenter was trying to choose at least one pair he could wear as he stepped out but since he was spoilt for choice his fans had to step in to help.
Looking at most of the shoes he was parading seems that he only steps out in designer shoes i.e Jordan’s, timberland’s and many more which are about Ksh 10,000 and above.
Well, just looking at the many gigs and deals Jalang’o has been landing since he became famous…there is no doubt that can afford to pay for his fancy shoes.

Like they say, Luo is a lifestyle. And clearly judging from how Jalang’o lives – the fella has enough money to last him a couple of years before going broke.
Sauti Sol knew they would clash with Ezekiel Mutua even before they dropped ‘Melanin’. The quartet confirmed this while speaking on Hot 96 a day before they released their controversial song.
Jalango asked the group if they thought their video would be played on TV. He told them that the photos they were posting on social media were not Ezekiel Mutua friendly.
“The photos that you people have been posting are not Ezekiel Mutua friendly. So you think it (‘Melanin’) might not be played in our local TVs?” Jalango asked.
Bien-Aimé Baraza replied and told Jalas not to be scared. He says Ezekiel Mutua is not their target audience and assured him ‘Melanin’ would piss him off.
“Even the video is not Ezekiel Mutua friendly. I mean he’s not the target audience. We are pushing the boundary, we are entertaining. We are entertainers that’s what we do you know. Wee (Jalango) usiogope. Unatujua sisi Sauti Sol ni watu wa vitu kali sisi,” said Bien.
Jalango could have been coughing up crazy amount of money in child support but lucky he made a conscious decision that saved him.
Most people know Jalango’s sole baby mama Cheptoek Boyo. Apparently the Hot 96 presenter has another ‘baby mama’ who was extorting him.
For starters, Jalango sired a beautiful daughter with Cheptoek Boyo. The comedian is however not in a relationship with Boyo even though they are co-parenting.

Jalango was caught up in a drama with ex girlfriend who claims he fathered her son. The comedian opened up about the ‘new baby mama’ while speaking during his show on Hot 96.
Jalas admits he dated the women over a decade ago when he was still broke and ashy. He says that lady dumped him when she realized that she was just another loser.
“When she came visiting me in Mwiki she realized that it isn’t all glitter and glam. She visited me twice in my place and after visiting me the second time she was like this is not the life she expected so she broke it off and got into another relationship,” Jalango narrates.

Jalas says the lady contacted him when he landed his first radio job at Kiss FM. The gold-digger wanted him to take her back because she realized Jalango had become a celebrity.
The lady also made up story to win Jalas’ love. She claimed she had been pregnant when they broke up and that the child was Jalango’s.
“One day she called me and told me there is something she wanted to tell me, at that time I was at Kiss, everybody knew Jalang’o. She wanted to come back because things were picking up for me. She later told me had been pregnant, had a baby and the child was mine,” says Jalango.

Jalango played ball because he feared the lady could ruin his career if she started a scandal. The Hot 96 presenter however overcame his fear recently and demanded DNA test before he could dish out cash to the lady.
Jalango reveals he has never seen the boy his ex said he fathered. He further says celebrity go through a lot but they apprehensive about speaking up for fear of tainting their brand.
“I was always trying to protect my brand. Nobody could know about this. I have never seen that child up to today and the kid is about 9 to 10 years. It’s a hard situation being in the limelight, some people don’t understand what we go through.
“My main reason to come out is for her to know I’ve opened up about this story. No more money until the DNA test is done,” says Jalango.

Akothee hosted Jalang’o at her palatial home in Mombasa over the past weekend. The comedian had traveled to the Coast for business engagement.
Akothee has at least two lavish homes in Kenya and one in Switzerland. The singer usually stays in Mombasa when she’s in Kenya even though she has another huge mansion in Rongo, Migori county.

Comedian cum media personality Jalang’o is among the renown entertainers we have in the country but unlike many, he likes to keep his private life off social media.
So far we know he has an adorable daughter with his ex Cheptoek Boyoare but we have never really understood the nature of their relationship. Many assume that the two are married while others see their relationship as the on and off type but this is not true.

Just recently his baby mama Cheptoek Boyoare came out to reveal the nature of their relationship in a lengthy post shared on her gram. Judging from what she wrote, these two are just friends and ex lovers who are just coparenting since they have a child together. She wrote saying;
“An assumption is just that if there is no clarification made. That’s why I would like to address a few issues concerning my relationship with Phelix. As many may not know, we are no longer together as a couple. We broke up over two years ago and for the respect of his wife and family, I would like to set the record straight. Yes, I am single and he is happily married. We are still good friends and co-parenting has never been better.”
The lady is said to have addressed this issue through her social media to stop the many assumptions and rumors claiming that she is involved with the comedian who she also revealed is now married.
Felix Odiwour popularly known as Jalango has decided to drop his bid for Siaya gubernatorial seat 2022 after Luo elders warned him against it.
Jalango was eyeing the Siaya seat but was informed that Raila’s possible successor in Luoland – James Orengo could be vying for the same seat in 2022.
For starters, Orengo is the only politician who won his seat without a single poster, billboard or t-shirt; as a matter of facts his photos were only seen in billboards in Kisumu County endorsing Anyang’ Nyong’o for Kisumu governor. Orengo won Siaya senatorial seat with 372,615 votes (98.35%) with his only rival garnering 6,236 votes (1.65%).
“After soul searching and consultations and sitting people…na kukaa na wazee pale nyumbani tukikula kuku na kukunywa chang’aa, tukaongea pamoja nikaskia wazee wakiongea wakaniambia; ‘the dream is big but too huge’ because apparently Orengo Ajimmy (James Orengo) might be coming back after 5 years as Siaya governor. Who wants to compete with someone that does not even make a poster, does not even make a t-shirt, does not have a billboard?” Jalango said during his show on Hot 96 FM.

The Hot 96 presenter has now set his eyes on Langata constituency where Jubilee’s Nixon Korir won with 41,086 votes against ODM’s Oscar Omoke who managed 39, 593 votes, a difference of 1,493 votes.
Whilst the MP seat was won by Jubilee, majority of the presidential votes in Langata went to Raila Odinga. The Nasa flag bearer served as MP for the larger Langata constituency for 20 years. The constituency was split into two, Kibra and Langata.
“So I have decided to bring the dream back here in Nairobi, back to 047….not head to head with Sonko because Sonko is my guy…that’s suicidal, ask Kidero he can tell you. I want to come back and take Langata…MP Langata. ODM has never lost in Langata for over three decades…I want to go back and bring the pride of Baba in Langata,” Jalango said.

In a new photo shared by the popular media personality, Jalang’o revealed that he is now building a house in his village where he recently visited after his surgery.

Jalang’o has opened up about the weird thing he did in his drunken stupor. The Hot 96 presenter confessed that circumstance forced him to pee on his neighbor’s clothes.
A house party at Jalango’s crib ended with his neighbor’s clothes being urinated on. The comedian owned up to his evil deed in an interview with local magazine.
Jalango revealed that he hosted the bash at his house to celebrate a contract he had just landed. But on that fateful day he got drunk silly that when he found the toilet’s door locked he ended up peeing through the balcony.
The Hot 96 presenter further revealed that his urine landed on the neighbor’s clothes hanging on the cloth line below the balcony he was peeing from.
“I had just landed a big contract and I was so excited as it was one of the biggest investment bids I had ever received a nod on. Feeling rather happy, I decided to celebrate with a couple of my friends by throwing a bash. I must admit, I really drained a bit too much.
“At some point, I needed to use the washroom but upon knocking, someone was already using the services and was taking too long to finish his business. I was too pressed and could hardly hold back so I decided to go out to the balcony where I could do my thing without anyone noticing.
“It was only after I had gone halfway my business that I realised I was peeing on the neighbour’s clothes on the hanging line and someone was right there, wondering how I could make such a huge mess. The rest is history,” Jalango narrated about his most embarrassing moments.
It is no secret that Akothee and Jalang’o are really close. They not only support each other through their social media pages but also attend each other’s gigs among other things.
Anyway, a way from that…just recently Akothee poured out her heart to Jalango and though it was on a light note – many have started asking questions on the type of relationship the two have.

Jalango is not new in the entertainment industry since he has been here for quite some years. After his comedy career picked up, other doors started opening up for the fella who has now become one of the best radio presenter’s in Kenya.

The world celebrated Father’s day yesterday and Kenya was not any different. Kenyan celebrities especially led from the fore front in celebrating their fathers and being celebrated all together in this full type profession without remuneration.
To start off is Ebru TV’s sensation Doreen Gatwiri. She was bundled away in some swanky resort somewhere in the confines Dar es Salaam but she still took some time to celebrate her father who she obviously adores and admires. “Happy Fathers’ Day to all the dads. Jalang’o this past weekend was exposed by Wendy Waeni, an 11 year old performer who refers president Uhuru Kenyatta as her biggest fan. So far she has performed for prominent people and occasions proving that she is a gifted young lady with a bright future ahead of her.

However, seems that Jalang’o who is renown radio presenter cum comedian rubbed the young girl’s management the wrong way after thinking he would get away with her Ksh. 5,000 as revealed.
We learnt this through Wendy Waeni’s social media pages where she threatened to expose her chats with Jalang’o which would be clear proof that the fella got away with her money moments after texting her “i dont have cash right now but by the time you are reaching town i will have sent you the cash am rushing to the Bank.”

Well, Ayeiya’s burial was not without drama – Jalango has attracted the wrath of Kenyans after a photo emerged showing him doing a disgusting thing at Ayeiya’s burial.
The Hot 96 presenter was seen taking a selfie while carrying the deceased’s casket. And he was not the only one talking selfies near the coffin as people mourned.

Controversial gay activist and gospel singer George Barasa aka Joji Baro was completely infuriated by Jalango’s action. He lashed out at the Hot 96 presenter and other people who were busy taking selfies near the casket carrying Ayeiya’s remains.
“Na kwa matanga yangu msikuje. Pigeni selfi two rivers. Not at my funeral. Kumbaf,” Joji Baro wrote.
KOT has no chills and sadly this time around comedian cum popular radio personality Jalang’o faced their wrath moments after he shared a tweet telling Kenyans to stop whining about their senators who had not accomplished much in their 4 year term as he sarcastically used an example of the men who date women for 5 years and still never get to marry them.
With the simple tweet, Jalang’o seemed to have sparked a war he was not ready for. One of his followers responded by asking him why he had not married his baby mama, Cheptoek, who he has dated for more than 5 years…double standards?
Sounds personal… but for once Jalang’o chose to keep his calm as he did not reply to the tweep. This was however a big blow to the comedian as he had not imagined that the tables would turn on him. Anyway, having a few days remaining to the the election date, many celebrities have been trying to preach peace to the youths who are often misled by political talks hoping that whatever happened back in 2007 would not repeat itself again.
The rumor also had it that Jalango was to team up with Jeff Koinange for a radio show on Hot 96 – and yesterday April 25 the celebrity duo confirmed their show will start on Thursday 27th April 2017.
In a video advertisement, Jalango was seen driving Jeff Koinange in a posh Range Rover as they headed to Royal Media to take over their new job at Hot 96.
Jalango officially quit his job at Radio Maisha about a fortnight ago, this after refuting claims that he had ditched the Mombasa Road-based media house to seek greener pastures.
The radio host-cum-presenter wrote a heartfelt letter to his colleagues on social media, he expressed his gratitude for working with them for the four years they had been together.
“Best Friends…Best Brothers. .Amazing Colleagues I would ask for….Today we part ways..as we pursue other dreams all I want to say that it’s been real…amazing four years together! Alex Mwakideu …you are my bro from another mother…I will always love you! Always do your best! Today I say goodbye to a colleague who became a friend and later a brother. It’s been REAL!” Jalango wrote.

His departure however left Alex Mwakideu in a terrible mess – the Radio Maisha presenter says he lived in denial for a week after Jalango quit.

On Friday we joined Jalango in celebrating his last day at Radio Maisha after a cool 4 years. He made the announcement in a heartfelt message posted on his instagram directed to his co hosts Alex Mwakideu and DJ Wesley who was also leaving the station.
The reason for his departure was crowded in mystery but the truth is finally out or rather we suppose it is. We tried uncovering the mystery weeks back when Martin Odour revealed he was heading to Hot 96 but unfortunately that never came into fruition as Radio Maisha gave him a counter offer and retained him.
As revealed by Business Today however, the big political boys later came calling and there was no way Jalango was going to resist the offer.
As the publication revealed, the MC cum event organizer is scheduled to join Joho and Anyang Nyongo’s political teams where he’s supposed to offer his expertise on matters communication, strategy, events and propaganda; not quite sure how that last point works.
Under what capacity he’ll be doing this is not quite clear but keep it here for more of the juice!
