Using his own experience as an example, Rapudo revealed that he waited for two years before Amber became his. The father of three recounted how their first meeting didn’t lead to an immediate connection, as Amber Ray, a nightclub host and social media influencer, was more interested in setting him up with one of her friends.

Reflecting on their initial encounter, Rapudo described it as a serendipitous moment. “There used to be a club along Thika Road, I can’t quite remember the name, but it was popular during the COVID period. People would go there, park their cars, and chill while drinking and eating,” he explained.

“One day, I was there with some friends, sitting in a corner drinking, and there was this lady who kept looking at me. I wondered, ‘Why is this girl constantly looking at me?’ It turned out to be Amber Ray. That’s how we met for the first time,” he recalled during an interview with Parents Magazine.

After that initial meeting, Rapudo introduced himself to Amber, but she was dating someone else at the time, which marked the beginning of their dance around each other. Interestingly, he noted that once Amber was single again, she sought him out.

“I’m the one who went to her, introduced myself, and said, ‘Hey, I’ve seen you on social media. You look very beautiful.’ We met again when she was dating someone, and then again when I was seeing someone. But as soon as she was single, I didn’t waste time—I snatched her up,” Rapudo said, laughing.

He emphasized that patience was key to their eventual relationship. “I didn’t waste time because I had been waiting for almost two years. She kept looking at me because she wanted to hook me up with one of her friends, but I was actually interested in her. Eventually, one day when she was available, she reached out. She called or texted me, I can’t remember, and asked if I wanted to have a glass of wine. The rest is history,” he concluded

Kennedy Rapudo Opens Up About Court Battle with Baby Mama

Businessman Kennedy Rapudo is opening up about his court battle with his second baby mama regarding co-parenting their 8-year-old son.

The process began in December last year, and Rapudo has been trying to obey the court judgment about joint custody.

The first interim order gave Rapudo access to his son twice a month. He claims that his baby mama has denied him access on several occasions, including on his son’s birthday.

Rapudo also pays school fees, related expenses, and Sh30,000 per month in child support. He claims that his baby mama rejected a Sh30,000 voucher he gave her and demanded cash instead. He also bought a car and hired a driver for his son’s transport needs.

Rapudo’s lawyer is seeking a fresh interpretation from the court about the joint custody agreement, as he believes it is unfair to pay Sh30,000 per month in child support while he has his son in his custody.

“My son loves me to the moon and back,” Rapudo said. “He is my only biological son, and all I want to do is be with him.”

Rapudo’s baby mama has not publicly commented on the court battle.
