Social media influencer Diana Kemunto is doubling down on her relationship with singer Iyanii, claiming their union is far from over, even if the “Donjo Maber” hitmaker disagrees.
In a candid Monday interview with Ankali Ray, Kemunto dismissed Iyanii’s recent public denials of a reunion, asserting that she has unilaterally decided to keep the flame alive.
“By Fire, By Force”
Addressing rumors that their “contract” had ended, Kemunto was defiant. She formally withdrew her previous statements regarding a breakup, telling the radio presenter:
“What contract ended? Who ended it? I withdraw what I said before. The contract is not over; I have renewed it by fire, by force. He might not have renewed it, but I have.”
Unrequited or Just Complicated?
While Kemunto spoke with confidence, she admitted there is a disconnect between her perspective and Iyanii’s. She confessed that while she considers them a couple, she is unsure if he shares that sentiment, stating;
“I am with him, but I don’t know if he is with me.”
Despite the uncertainty, she cited her love for him and the joy of being serenaded as her primary motivations.
“I love him. Do you know what it means to have someone sing for you? I enjoy being sung to,” she explained.
Defiant to the End
Kemunto appeared unphased by the possibility of Iyanii dating other people, issuing a playful yet firm warning to potential rivals to “be careful” around her man. She maintained that the relationship would only truly end when she decides to walk away on her own terms.
Iyanii’s Counter-Statement
This “renewal” comes in direct opposition to Iyanii’s recent efforts to distance himself from the influencer. Following reports of a reconciliation, the singer took to social media to shut down the rumors;
“I am not aware of it or involved in it. RUMORS DON’T SPREAD!”
While Iyanii is calling for an end to the speculation, Kemunto seems intent on writing her own script for their romantic future.
