Kenyan content creator Sheryl Gabriella has spoken publicly for the first time since an intimate video allegedly linked to her began circulating on social media.

In a statement shared via her Instagram Stories, Sheryl addressed her followers, business partners, colleagues and the wider public, expressing regret over the situation while insisting she had no role in publishing or distributing the video.

Says her privacy was violated

Sheryl maintained that the video was shared without her knowledge or permission, describing the incident as a serious breach of her privacy.

“I was not the person who uploaded or distributed the video online. The content was shared without my knowledge or consent, and I have been deeply affected by this violation of my privacy.”

She also apologised to anyone who may have been affected or disappointed by the incident, acknowledging the concern it has generated among her supporters.

“First and foremost, I sincerely apologise to anyone who has been affected or disappointed by the circulation of this content.”

The influencer further disclosed that the matter has been reported and is now being handled by the relevant authorities.

Her statement comes after days of widespread discussion online, with the alleged video attracting significant attention across multiple social media platforms.
