Days after removing her estranged husband’s surname, Nigerian actress Annie Macaulay has resurfaced on social media following months of silence.
Dressed in an elegant beige outfit paired with a brown jacket and handbag, she shared stunning photos, including moments aboard a private jet.
In her first Instagram post since the hiatus, she expressed gratitude to those who stood by her:
“To my family, friends, and everyone who came through for me—thank you for the outpouring of love. I appreciate every single one of you. May the universe favor you. Lots of love, Annie Uwana Macaulay.”
2Baba Confirms Divorce, Proposes to Politician
In January, Innocent ‘2Baba’ Idibia publicly announced his separation from Annie, revealing that they had already filed for divorce.
“Hello my beautiful people. Annie Macaulay and I have been separated for a while now and have filed for divorce. Not because it is anyone’s right to know, but because I love my people and want them to understand my innocence or offense. Stay blessed, my people. I love you all.”
Weeks later, 2Baba proposed to politician Natasha Osawaru, who has since adopted the Idibia surname. Osawaru, born in 1994, is a member of the People’s Democratic Party and serves in the Edo State House of Assembly.
