100k per post! Azziad Nasenya’s exaggerated online rates leaves Kenyans in shock

Azziad Nasenya has broken the glass ceiling to prove she can rise on her own, build her own brand and fix her crown like a Queen.

The barely 20-year old Multimedia University student has taken up multiple TV roles, landed brand endorsement deals, entertainment gigs…you name it! since her star shone in April this year.

Her fame did come with its own fair share of downfalls but that only made her stronger, bouncing back bigger, better and brighter.

So now, the lass is apparently an A-list celebrity or at least on her way there, if her 2020 rate card is anything to go by.

First, it introduces her as a “young, vivacious, fun-filled, sassy, happy, go-getter, working hard to achieve her dreams.”

Moving on to her rates – is she to get involved in any of your works, be it online or just physical campaigns.

TikTok, the platform that gained her massive recognition goes at KSh 100k for video and KSh 50k for Live.

Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and YouTube wobble around a similar rate as TikTok, with her least rate being KSh 30k and highest at KSh 100k.

Well, what has caught the attention of many, are her weekly and monthly brand engagement packages at KSh 250k and 500k respectively.

Azziad Nasenya’s new hustle to give big industry names a run for their time and money

Ever since her debut in the music scene, Azziad Nasenya has rattled the Kenyan entertainment space with her unmatched skills and talent.

Soon after, she became part of the Selina family, no lie, this 20-year old lass is not looking back. This time, bouncing back with her own TV show exclusively for entertainment and set to air across 7 TV stations in Kenya.

New TV show

Dubbed Concert Nyumbani, Azziad will be its host alongside celebrated TV personality Mwaniki Mageria.

“Concert Nyumbani” is produced by Documentary & Reality Television Limited and will be hosted by internet sensation @azz_iad & seasoned television personality @nikimags.

Divulging further details on the same, the show directors Eugene Mbugua and Enos Olik revealed the show is meant to celebrate heroes born out of the Covid-19 pandemic.

With the help of the @kenyafilmcommission, I called together a team of some of the most talented people in Kenya to work on a documentary and musical show celebrating heroes who’ve emerged from the corona pandemic.

Adding:

“Concert Nyumbani”, the biggest entertainment television event ever on Kenyan TV will air this Sunday 19/7/2020at 2 p, simultaneously on KTN, NTV, K24, KBC, Switch TV, Metropol TV, Y24, TV47 and PPP TV.

These two recently stirred controversy after stepping out in matching outfits, hardly did we know something had been cooking.

I am sure you know who Azziad Nasenya is. For those who don’t, she is the gorgeous lady who became an overnight sensation after a clip of her dancing and lip syncing to Femi One and Mejja’s jam titled Utawezana went viral.

She was all that Kenyans were talking about for the better part of April. Actually, some people even claim that she is the reason the song became big because she inspired people to participate in the Utawezana challenge.

Most people had assumed that she was just a passing cloud and that Kenyans would forget about her in a matter of days or maybe weeks but she has proven them wrong and continues to do so, day in day out.

Apart from bagging brand endorsement deals left, right and centre, Azziad, who turned 20 a fortnight ago, has also appeared in Rigtone’s jam titled Zoea Mawe which is; currently at 1.1 million views.

But that’s not all. She also landed a role in the Maisha Magic drama Selina and if you thought her dancing skills are dope, then you should see her acting because you will be impressed.

Interestingly, her critics have refused to leave her alone. They just see her as a girl who became famous because she knows how to gyrate her waist not knowing that she was big on Tik Tok long before Utawezana.

What I love most about Azziad is her spirit. If she had listened to naysayers I don’t think she would be where she is today, she would have thrown in the towel a long time ago.

I believe it’s only a matter of time before one of the local TV stations bring her on board and give her a show to host and I can’t wait to hear what her critics will say then.

Azziad Nasenya was introduced to the world, barely aged 19, a young campus girl who broke the glass ceiling to become one of Kenya´s most admired and sought-after dancer.

Well, she just turned 20 years of age but her 19th year was nothing close to what she expected. One that opened the world to her but one that equally saw her get trampled upon by the same world which did not believe in her dream.

A dream she always had since she was a kid – a dream to appear before the TV screens. A dream she might have just achieved through her acting TV role on ´Selina´ but a dream that she feels needs to be pursued more.

Inborn talent

Through her Instagram pages, the 20-year old dashing beauty recalled how back in the days, her primary school teachers had taken note of her inborn talent in the acting industry.

A time she was still young to understand why she had to pursue that path and not something different. But the flame and the dream in her kept burning to date.

Since I was a kid, I have always wanted to be on the screen. This is still the dream that I am working to pursue.
All the way from Primary my teachers were able to spot my talents even before I did and I guess that gave me a lot of psyche and determination to keep on keeping on.

She worked through what others had seen in her that she hadn´t yet. The psych and determination kept her going, never quitting but never admitting that she was any better than everyone else.

The hate

Through her journey, she has encountered a fair share of setbacks. She has been called ´overrated´, ´lacking talent´, ´not up to the fight´ as critics tried every means possible to see her give up on her dream, crumble and disappear in thin air.

I have never been a quitter..not that Iam perfect, no. I am still struggling to find my right path..but one thing I was taught is to always be a fighter…and I believe that has helped me achieve the little success that is coming my way.. ‘She is overrated’, they say, ‘She ain’t talented’, they add. ‘She will wear off’, some pray, and many more that I may not be able to quote…

All this saw her ¨cry herself to sleep…tossing and turning each night asking the Almighty what she had done to deserve all this¨ she said.

¨At only 19 seeking and asking how cruel the world could be against an innocent soul…¨ she continued.

But after several dark days of blaming herself and doubting that she was set for this path, the Queen rose up, wiped off her tears and decided that it was time to work.

Unapologetic comeback

They say it is in failure that we achieve success. So is it in picking up the stones that have been thrown at you and using them to build your Queendom – in this case. That is exactly what happened to Azziad.

Those same words that were thrown my way gave me motivation to work Harder and God Gave me the strength to push even further.
Well, here I am, turning 20 this Tuesday 16th and still living that old dream I had since I was a kid.

As she turns 20 years of age today, Tuesday, June 16, Azziad articulated:

I have not gotten there but my journey just started???????????? Your dreams are valid don’t you ever give up.

Powerful words that I believe don´t need explaining. Words that speak of a lioness who was once bitten but arose amidst pitch darkness, with a light from within, determined to light up the world around her and for those that can´t take it, they can only pack up and leave. Because well, her territory has now been marked.

Azziad Nasenya has become one of Kenya´s most sought-after personalities, barely aged 19 years. Well, it is time to meet the Queen behind Azziad´s existence.

The young actress and content creator hit fame with her dance rendition on Femi One´s Utawezana anthem and life has never been the same again.

Friday, May 29, the dancer took to her social media to appreciate her loving mom as she turned an year older, in a series of photos.

However, it is not even the birthday wishes that bewitched her fans, it is just how unbelievably young Azziad´s mother is. I mean YOUNG!

Let me ask: have you ever randomly met a young girl with her mother – who you mistook for a twin sister or just a sister – and the minute you´re told that´s the mother you´re like, ¨No way. C´mon!¨

That is exactly the position I was in after spotting the singer´s strikingly beautiful young mother. Actually, you´d mistake her for a late 20-year old girl living her life to the fullest.

Plus, I think now I understand when someone says that the body doesn´t age if you consistently engage in sports. I´ll tell you why, Azziad previously revealed her mom was a dancer and therefore molded and supported her daughter in the art as well.

Probably that there explains why Azziad´s mom is aging backwards!

EXCLUSIVE: Azziad Nasenya ‘Kenyan Tik Tok Queen’ opens up about her dating life, fame and being cyber bullied

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, I’m sure you’ve heard of the name Azziad Nasenya, such a lovely name right? Anyway, sorry for digressing.

Azziad Nasenya alias Kenyan Tik Tok Queen

She’s the gorgeous lass who literally broke the internet after recording a video of herself dancing and singing along to Femi One and Mejja’s latest jam dubbed Utaniweza – which is literally fire by the way.

The video has garnered more than 243,000 views on Instagram and about 734,000 on Tik Tok by the time this piece went up. I don’t know what you make of that but it’s a big deal.

Azziad is also the reason why the real version of the track has been trending at number one on YouTube and hit more than 1.4 million views since she inspired people to start the #UtaniwezaChallenge.

The 19-year old – who studies broadcast journalism at the Kenya Institute of Mass Communication (KIMC) – trended top on Twitter for about two days, others have even christened her the Tik Tok Queen and we stan.

Sadly, a few days later things took a bad turn and people started bullying her. Some accused her of bleaching her skin while others had an issue with her physique. Someone also leaked her number online and she started getting strange calls and Whats App messages.

I reached out to her and we had a lengthy conversation about anything and everything, from her new-found fame to her dating life, making money from content creation, being cyber bullied, aspirations and whatnot.
