While Ng’anga’s outrage might be general, his statement comes just a day after American preacher Benny Hinn publicly confessed that he might have made false prophecies before.

There were times when I thought God had shown me something, but he hadn’t, and I spoke it out, and I wish I could go back and fix it, sadly. There were some prophecies I gave out that were not accurate; those things went outside of redemption. Anything that’s out of redemption is not a prophecy.

He further requested to be pardoned by the public for his antics.

Mirema Residents Win Noise Pollution Case, Clubs & Church Ordered To Shut Down

In a victory for residents, the Environmental and Land Court has ordered the closure of four establishments in Mirema Estate: Cocorico Wines, Paris Lounge and Grill, Tessara Entertainment, and Trinity House International Ministry. The court also imposed a collective fine of 5 million Kenyan shillings on these businesses for noise pollution violations.

Judge Judy Omange issued the ruling in favor of the Amani Residents Welfare Association/Mirema, following a case presented by association chairman Dominic Mbigi and resident John Koogi. Their affidavit highlighted the significant disruption caused by excessive noise from the establishments.

Governor Sakaja Faces Heavy Criticism Over Nairobi Floods

Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja is facing criticism for the city’s handling of recent floods caused by heavy rainfall. Senator Tabitha Mutinda, the vice-chair of the Senate Committee on Finance and Budget, accused the Governor’s office of incompetence, highlighting the devastating impact with over 15 lives lost in the capital.

Mutinda pointed a finger at a lack of organization within the county government, which has delayed access to crucial funding for flood mitigation. The national Financing Locally-Led Climate Action program (FLLOCA) funds haven’t reached Nairobi despite being allocated by the Senate.

“Nairobi hasn’t met the basic requirements,” explained Mutinda on Citizen TV’s Daybreak program. “They haven’t signed the agreement outlining the need for a dedicated climate or environment department, nor have they set up a special account to manage these funds.”

Mutinda contrasted Nairobi’s situation with other counties that have successfully received and utilized FLLOCA funds. When pressed on who was responsible for the delay within Nairobi, she placed the blame squarely on the executive branch, led by Governor Sakaja.

Adding to the criticism, Senator Mutinda pointed out the ineffectiveness of a 200 million Kenyan Shilling emergency fund allocated by the Nairobi County Assembly for the current financial year. She claims the funds haven’t been used properly to address flooding issues.

“The core problem is a lack of planning,” stated Mutinda. “We haven’t seen the emergency funds being used strategically to prevent or lessen the impact of floods.”

Here’s Why A Traditional Cleansing Ceremony Was Held At Late Chira’s Burial Site

A special ceremony was held on Friday, April 26th, at the home of the late TikTok star Brian Chira in Kiambu County, Kenya. The ceremony, led by village elders, aimed to restore balance and cleanse the community after a large and unconventional funeral.

Thousands of mourners attended Chira’s burial, and according to the elders, some customs were not followed.

Concerns were raised about mourners’ attire, consumption of alcohol and smoking near religious figures, and disrespectful behavior towards elders and traditions.

“Their actions went against the way we were raised,” stated a villager. “We are worried about the future and how these young people will raise their own families.”

The ceremony began with prayers for forgiveness for any transgressions during the funeral. Dressed in traditional attire, the elders performed rituals to cleanse the village of any negative energy that may have lingered due to the large gathering.
