Former Finance Minister David Mwiraria has passed on.
According to a statement released by the family and which was first reported by the Nation, Mwiraria passed on early this morning Thursday, 13th April 2017 at Karen hospital.
This is after a long battle with cancer.
David Mwiraria was a formidable force in Kibaki’s government having served as Minister for Environment and Natural Resources and later as Finance Minister.
He took a step back from politics in 2007 when he lost his seat as Member of parliament for North Imenti Constituency.
