Jennifer Lopez, the “I Ain’t Your Mama” singer, has shared that she is not seeking a new partner following her divorce from Ben Affleck. Lopez officially filed for divorce on August 20, two years after their wedding in Georgia, though the separation date was listed as April 26, 2024.
In a recent appearance on Nikki Glaser’s show on October 9, 2024, Lopez expressed no regrets about her marriage, despite its end. Reflecting on her journey, she said, “I’m not looking for anyone right now. After everything I’ve been through over the past 25-30 years, I’m learning what it means to truly be on my own and what freedom feels like.”
She added that while her post-divorce life didn’t unfold as she initially imagined, it has led her exactly where she needs to be. Despite the pain, Lopez emphasized that she doesn’t regret the experience. “It nearly broke me, but now I see that it was what I needed. I’m grateful for the lesson, even if it took longer than expected.”
When asked if the divorce taught her anything, Lopez said, “I finally got it. Now, I’m looking forward to embracing life on my own.”
