Grown a thick skin for criticisms.
Ace nollywood actor, Jim Iyke has insisted that he no longer lets criticisms get to him. This was at an interview were he said people’s words are no longer capable of breaking him down.
Criticisms, he said are a form of advancement and admiration for him. He needed the criticisms to be who he is now, he added.
“Who will criticize you if you are nobody? Who will criticize you if you are not making bold moves? You cannot project boldness and fearlessness without being criticized. And you can’t stand as an entity of your own without criticism. I believe the greatest people in the world have been criticized for good or bad.”
He also stated that he wouldn’t be where he is now if everything had gone well for him, criticisms brought him this far, he said.
“How can I even impact others and tell them that something is wrong? I cannot even have a voice in anything. But now, I can tell anyone that this is the way to survive criticism. I can tell them they need to be deaf and blind to survive it.”
Jim Iyke has been surrounded with so much controversies in the past.
