Management Explains the Situation
In a January 2 statement from Ospo Music Group, Lwaga’s management clarified the circumstances surrounding his absence. Despite arriving on time, they encountered disorganization that fell short of professional and contractual standards.
“Although our team arrived as planned, significant issues with the event’s organization and unmet contractual obligations made it unsuitable for Joel Lwaga to perform,” the statement read.
Efforts were made to resolve the concerns through discussions with the organizers, but an agreement could not be reached.
Apology to Fans
Lwaga’s team expressed heartfelt apologies to fans who had eagerly anticipated his performance.
“We deeply regret that circumstances beyond our control prevented Joel from ministering through his music. Your unwavering support means everything to us, and we share in your disappointment,” the statement added.
The management assured fans of their commitment to creating better opportunities for future performances. They emphasized their dedication to providing safe and respectful environments where their artists can connect meaningfully with audiences.
“We remain steadfast in upholding the values and professionalism our artists represent and will continue advocating for high standards in performance settings,” they concluded.
