Heavy K has teamed up with King Monda and Boohle on ‘Qondile’ and it’s a big tune (Video)

Award-winning South African producer, composer and DJ Mkhululi Siqula, popularly known as Heavy K Drumboss, has featured Boohle and King Monada – who is famed for his Malwedhe hit – on his latest project and we love it.

The song dubbed Qondile has been getting good airplay on various radio and TV stations since it dropped a few days ago. The way, I see it, this is one of the best songs from 2019.

Apparently, this song is about partners who fight constantly. This goes on for a long time and as a result one of them is fed up and has decided that he/she will go away for good. This is a story that we can all relate to.

If you are a fan of Heavy K’s work – which is commonly referred to as Afro House – then you will definitely enjoy this jam. The beats are really impeccable and believe you me this song will instantly get you in a party mood.

The other thing that caught my attention was Boohle’s voice. Heck, I didn’t even know what she was singing about, I just wanted to keep listening to her. I googled later and dang she is quite a looker! I digress.

King Monda also did a good job. However, for one reason or the other, I felt like he lacked the flare that he had in his mega hit dubbed Malwedhe but then again, maybe’s just me. Actually, it is.

Listen to Qondile below and tell us what you think. Enjoy!

King Monada reveals he was paid R26 instead of R26K after performance

King Monada has advised other artists not to perform before being shown proof of payment by event organisers after being recently paid R26 instead of R26,000 for a gig.

In a video that has been circulating on social media, the Ska Bhora Moreki hitmaker says he suspects that the event organisers took advantage of him because he was from the area.

He says: “Artists out there, do not perform before being given proof of payment. We were given R26, instead of R26,000 and we got it after my performance. We’re from around here but people must not take advantage of that.”
