Lillian Dube is officially a doctor

Lillian Dube has received an honorary degree from The Tshwane University of Technology (TUT).

This is a DTech (Honoris Causa) for Drama and Film production for all her work done over the 30 years.

Lilian said, “I feel like I could wake up my late mother, she said to me while growing up that whatever work you do, do it diligently. She said even if you sweep the floors, make people want to know who did the great work. I have taken that lesson with me all my life. Whatever I do, I do wholeheartedly and these are the fruits.”

Muvhango actress Liteboho Molise took to Instagram to share the good news.

She captioned the post: “Ladies and Gents I present to you Dr Lillian Dube.”

Congratulations to her.

From a humble maid to an honorary doctor – Lillian Dube’s story

Next week will see Lillian Dube awarded a DTech (Honoris Causa) endorsements Drama and Film Production by the Tshwane University of Technology.
