Longomba and Maggy married in May 2023. They have a strong bond, with Maggy calling him her “forever best friend.”

Longomba recently offered some insightful advice for young men considering marriage. He emphasized the importance of being prepared before taking the leap.

“Don’t get married if you haven’t figured out your goals,” he advised. “How can you lead your wife? If you can’t take care of yourself, you can’t take care of her.”

He continued, highlighting the importance of responsibility and self-discipline in a marriage: “Can you protect and provide for your wife? If you have no plans for the future, don’t get married. A wife is a helper, not a solution to your problems.”

Longomba concluded with a humorous analogy: “Take your time! Marriage is wonderful when you’re ready. It’s like a credit card. Use it wisely and it will boost your credit score, but misuse it and you’ll be in trouble.”

Longomba is the founder of Revelation Church in Simi Valley, California. He began his career in Kenya as a secular musician alongside his late twin brother, Christian Longomba.

On the Nick Canon Show, Prophet Lovy Logomba defends his “rapper look.”

Prophet Lovy Elias Logomba, a former prominent secular musician turned religious leader, has opened up about perceptions of his appearance and style in relation to his ministry.

In a candid conversation with American entertainer Nick Cannon on the ‘Counsel Culture’ show, Prophet Lovy addressed the topic of whether appearance matters in ministry, given his unconventional attire resembling secular rappers and musicians when preaching.

“I live for God and my family. It’s not really about appearances. If you’re a man of God and judge people by how they look, you really don’t know God. God’s help comes from the most unlikely places,” he emphasized.

Lovy challenged misconceptions about his style, citing biblical context and cultural interpretations. He pointed out that while some focus solely on tattoos, the Scriptures cover a range of grooming practices often overlooked. He stressed that Jesus came to save souls, not bodies.

Known for his trendy fashion sense, Prophet Lovy often defies traditional expectations for religious leaders. In the interview, he sported a sleeveless button-up khaki shirt, capris, designer ankle shoes sans socks, and dreadlocks cascading down his back. His arms and hands displayed visible tattoos, complemented by accessories like an expensive watch and rings – reminiscent of prolific rappers’ aesthetics.

Despite facing criticism for his association with secular entertainers and his non-conventional appearance, Prophet Lovy asserted that he wouldn’t live his life to conform to societal expectations.

The interview follows online criticism aimed at Prophet Lovy, questioning his teachings on prayer, premarital sex, and financial contributions to the church. He also expressed frustration with his ‘heroes of faith’ tarnishing his reputation for personal gain.

Before embracing religious ministry, Lovy collaborated with notable American musicians and spent time in the studio with secular megastars like Swae Lee. He recently returned to his music career, releasing a gospel song, marking a new chapter in his journey.

Following Prophet Lovy Logomba’s dedication of Nick Cannon’s twins, chaos breaks out

Prophet Lovy Elias Logomba, a Kenyan-Congolese based in the United States of America, recently conducted a dedication ceremony for two of American entertainer Nick Cannon’s 12 children. The twins, born to one of Cannon’s several baby mamas, Abby De La Rosa, were blessed during a church service at the Prophet’s Revelation Church of Jesus in California, attended by the Prophet’s wife, Maggy Soal Elias.

Ms. De La Rosa expressed gratitude, stating, “Mark 10:14 says ‘Let the children come to me, do not hinder them, for they belong to the kingdom of God.’ Such a true blessing for our family to have Zion, Zillion, and Beautiful dedicated to the Most High.” She emphasized the importance of raising children in accordance with their spiritual upbringing.

Prophet Lovy Elias Logomba also posted about the dedication on social media, saying, “The best decision parents can make is to give the gift that is our children back to God. Congratulations @hiabbydelarosa & @nickcannon.”

However, the dedication prayers sparked mixed reactions, with some supporting the move while others criticized the Prophet for associating with Nick Cannon, especially regarding his lifestyle of having children with multiple women. Opinions in the comments ranged from congratulatory messages to concerns about the need for spiritual deliverance from certain behaviors.

Prophet Lovy’s Marriage Advice

Prophet Lovy, husband of designer and stylist Maggy Elias, recently shared his insights on what men should consider before entering marriage. His emphasis lies on personal stability and preparedness before taking on the responsibility of a spouse.

Planning and Provision:

Lovy advises against rushing into marriage without a clear direction and secure means to provide for a family. “If you don’t know where you’re going, don’t get married,” he states, highlighting the importance of a defined path before leading another person on it.

Protection and Security:

He further expands on the role of a husband as a protector and provider. “How are you going to protect her, provide for her, and secure her future?” he asks. He encourages men to have established plans and resources in place before taking on these crucial responsibilities.

Shared Growth and Purpose:

Lovy underscores the importance of both partners contributing to the union’s growth. “A woman is a helper,” he explains, but clarifies that this shouldn’t imply dependence. He emphasizes the need for men to have their own pursuits and goals, allowing for a collaborative partnership where both spouses contribute to shared aspirations.

Self-Discipline and Realistic Expectations:

Prophet Lovy also stresses the importance of self-awareness and realistic expectations. He warns against projecting unattainable goals onto a partner, stating, “If you don’t have self-discipline, don’t marry. You are going to have false expectations for her that you yourself cannot achieve.”

Honesty and Patience:

Honesty and patience emerge as key cornerstones for a successful marriage in Lovy’s message. He advises young men to “take their time” and understand that “marriage is sweet at the right time.”

Analogy and Humor:

Using his brother Aj’s humorous analogy, Lovy likens marriage to a credit card: “You use that thing right, it’s gonna get you your credit score high, you use it wrong and it’s gonna go all the way down.” This lighthearted comparison underscores the importance of responsible choices and commitment within a marriage.

Overall, Prophet Lovy’s message emphasizes the importance of personal stability, shared goals, realistic expectations, and responsible commitment before embarking on the journey of marriage.
