Mampho Brescia recently traveled to Japan as the current Brand Japan Ambassador.

Mampho Brescia heads to Japan

An intimate dinner was held for Mampho Brescia, to wish her a safe journey as she travels to Japan.

She is the first ever Brand Japan ambassador for South Africa. Therefore, she will embark on a week long tour to Japan. She is set to meet role players in entertainment, tourism and public service.

In attendance at the dinner were Pallance Dladla, Sdumo Mtshali, Rami Chuene and Abdul Khoza. Others included Kgomotso Christipher, Johanna Mukoki, Rosette Ncwana and Aaron Moloisi.

Nicola Brescia, Mampho’s husband also attended the dinner.

Mampho Brescia gives more details on new role

It’s been a few weeks since Mampho Brescia was appointed to her new role as Brand Japan Ambassador for South Africa.

The official announcement was however made on the 27th of July in Pretoria. This was at the official residence of the Ambassador of Japan, Ambassador Shigeyuki Hiroki.

“Being appointed as Brand Japan Ambassador is a full circle moment for me. I had the opportunity to experience Japan as a student. I discovered an entirely different world. It’s such an honor to now be in a position to represent the beautifully rich and colorful Japanese culture to South Africa,” said Brescia in a statement.

Brescia will be travelling to Japan on 21st September, 2018 as the official ambassador.

“Japanese culture is filled with intrigue and mysteries of age old traditions. The art form in their expressions of fashion, motion pictures, and language is something I would love all South Africans to embrace. I’m looking forward to my Japan trip in September. Also meeting key stakeholders and adding great value as the first Brand Japan Ambassador,” she added.

Mampho Brescia lands new ambassadorial role

Mampho Brescia is the first ever Brand Japan Ambassador for South Africa. She shared the great news with followers, writing: “What an honor to be selected as Brand Japan Ambassador. A full circle moment for me.”

Having studied in the country, Mampho is therefore in a better position to represent the country. She will be travelling to Japan on the 21st of September, 2018. This will be an official visit as the Brand Japan Ambassador, so as to meet Japanese role players in entertainment, tourism and public services among others.
