Museum of Illusions Nairobi Launches Team-Building Programme

Museum of Illusions Nairobi, the interactive science-and-art attraction in Nairobi that opened in January 2025, has introduced a dedicated team-building programme aimed at organisations, corporate groups and community networks. The museum first made headlines when it launched its immersive illusion exhibits in Swaminarayan Road, Parklands, offering more than 60 interactive displays that play with perception and creativity.

A New Way to Build Team Cohesion

The team-building initiative leverages the museum’s unique environment — where nothing is quite as it seems — to encourage collaboration, problem-solving and shared experiences among participants. Organisers say the programme is designed to be:

  • Interactive and engaging, using illusion-based challenges that require group participation

  • Creative and fun, helping teams bond outside of traditional office settings

  • Suitable for diverse groups, from corporate professionals to community organisations

Though the museum is known for optical illusions and mind-bending rooms, its new offering positions it as more than just a tourist attraction — also a venue where companies can strengthen teamwork and communication.

What to Expect

Participants in the team-building programme can explore exhibits that spark curiosity and encourage teamwork, such as:

  • Optical illusion rooms that challenge perception

  • Problem-solving installations requiring group coordination

  • Photo-op and experiential stations that inspire shared interaction

The programme is flexible to accommodate different group sizes and objectives, whether the goal is boosting morale, improving communication or simply giving teams a memorable shared experience.

Beyond Team Building

The Museum of Illusions continues to operate as a general entertainment space, offering:

  • Walk-through illusion exhibits

  • Corporate event hosting

  • Interactive experiences for families and school groups

Since opening, the venue has been marketed not just as a tourist destination but as a hub for corporate events, team-building functions and social engagements.

Booking and Participation

Groups interested in the team-building programme can contact the museum directly or book through their official channels. Tickets and sessions are scheduled in time slots, and the venue operates a cashless entry system accepting mobile money and card payments.

This new initiative offers companies a creative way to energise their teams while enjoying some of Nairobi’s most imaginative indoor experiences.
